1) What will be #1? "Breathe"
2) What will be #13? "It Will Be Me" maybe?
3) Which songs will be in the top 5? The 4 singles for sure. Idk which album cut will make it the farthest. I'll randomly guess "Love Is a Sweet Thing."
4) What song will be most polarizing? Least polarizing? Most: "Elvis" | Least: "Breathe"
5) Which of the singles will place highest? Where will it place? (Breathe, The Way You Love Me, Let's Make Love, If My Heart Had Wings) "Breathe @ #1
6) Which of the singles will place lowest? Where will it place? "Let's Make Love" @ #4
7) What will be the highest-placing album track? Where will it place? "Love Is a Sweet Thing" @ #5 is my guess.
8) Where will the title track, "Breathe", place? #1 is where it belongs
8) Any other thoughts/predictions? I hope "That's How Love Moves" does well!

So, due to an unexpected and sudden occurrence (aka my sister’s college announcing suddenly that they are closing dorms for the rest of the school year and everybody has to move out), I have had to hurriedly drive across the state in the middle of the night. Plus there are rumors that WA is about to be put under mandatory quarantine, so it is kinda urgent for us to get her home before that potentially happens. Tomorrow I will be helping her move out, and then we’ll have to drive back across the state tomorrow evening... So honestly, I probably won’t be beginning reveals for at least another day or two. If you would like to submit, I can give you another 36 hours or so :) That goes for anyone else who would like to submit too! ( SHOOTER, perhaps? The Brazilian Guy 🇧🇷?)

Everyone dreams of A love lasting and true. You and I know what this world can do. So let's make our steps clear That the other may see. And I'll wait for you, And should I fall behind, wait for me.

The first song to leave us was a bit of a self-premonition sort of situation, as the song indeed kept falling behind... Unfortunately, we were not willing to wait for it, and it limped across the finish line in last place thanks to .indulgecountry's list just when it had a brief glimpse of hope in making a tiny recovery. In my opinion, this song is a fitting last place. It is a good song, but not particularly memorable compared to many of the other album tracks. Certainly not actively bad though! Although it does bother me very much that the title is "If I Should Fall Behind" and every time she says it she actually says "Should I fall behind".... One of my big pet peeves in songwriting.

The next song spent the first half of the submission process as a top 5 contender, before it had a rapid free fall all the way to our penultimate position

Y'all, I have no clue what happened with this song! It is a beautiful and understated vocal from Faith, and yet it managed to accumulate FIVE last place votes, which helped sink it directly towards the bottom. It was never a direct contender for last place, but in the end it only finished 2 points ahead of "If I Should Fall Behind".
Color me shocked at the treatment this received. It was a standout track on my first listen of this album! It did fall a few positions on my list as I familiarized myself with this album, but I still think it's a great song!

"It Will Be Me" was looking like a top 10 finisher for awhile, but was always towards the bottom of the top 10. Unfortunately it gained its only last place rank with the final list, which pushed it backwards outside of the top 10, to the lowest position it had occupied at any point in the submission process.
So I know this isn't the most interesting song in the world, but I find it to be really understatedly catchy and relaxing to listen to. I really like the vocal structure, with the higher-than expected start to every line in the verses.
Also, this is totally random, but one time while listening to this, I suddenly imagined how fantastic Jo Dee Messina would sound on this song, and now I can't stop thinking about that 😂

The next song was actually a bottom 2 contender for almost the entire submission process!! It only climbed into the top 10 thanks to .indulgecountry right at the end!! I was shocked at how horribly this did, because it will also see our first #1 loss

I have NO idea what is so bad about this song... I think it has a really strong melody, and one of Faith's best vocal performances of the entire album. I even feel like I underranked it at #8, but then again there are a lot of fantastic songs on this album that had to be given their recognition too. However, this song got one bottom 3 rank after another throughout the submission process, keeping it comfortably between 11 and 13 for almost the entire rankdown. @xfer can thank .indulgecountry for that #4 rank helping push his #1 into the top 10 when it mattered most!

Just like a fossil Frozen in time, I could not move My heart, my soul, my feet. Then you unearthed me, And put me in a hot pulsating groove. Now I'm a slave to the beat.
You're bringing out the Elvis in me, Making my hips want to swing. You bring out the Elvis in me, Making me burst out and sing.

The lyrics to this song are pretty ridiculous, but I think the melody and vocal for "Bringing Out The Elvis" are both fantastic! It is a very unique song for Faith, and really brings out a groovy side of her as an artist that we haven't seen very often. This was a song that was all over the place throughout submissions. It managed to be the 3rd most polarizing song, and also jumped anywhere from #2 to #12 throughout the submissions. It seemed ready to even out right in the middle of the album at #7, but bottom 3 ranks from Cody Wants Out... and .indulgecountry helped push it back a couple positions right at the end.

I just cannot figure out this song. On the one hand, the 12/8 time signature of this song is absolutely epic. The swing feel that it creates is infectious! I have always loved songs that have that kind of groove to them. Then when Faith starts singing, the verses are SO catchy and fun. I could listen to those parts forever! Then there's the chorus... The melody is so weird, discordant, dissonant, and obnoxious that it instantly turns me off of the song. And Faith's vocal is too shouty and heavy for what the song's lightweight verses set you up to expect. Literally one of the hardest-to-listen-to songs of her entire career, and I am shocked that this one consistently seems to get so much love... Thank goodness "If My Heart Had Wings" also exists on this album, and does the 12/8 time signature MUUUUUUUCH better

"There Will Come A Day", with its cavernous and poppy production, its Jesus revival lyrics, and its grand choirs in the background, seems tailor-made to close out this album in epic fashion. We mostly all felt it belonged in the back half of the top 10, which is where it was poised to finish for the majority of the submission process before .indulgecountry once again shuffled the entire list around and put this at the highest position it had occupied during the whole rankdown @xfer now loses his #2, and fearlessarrow stays true to his newly discovered Satanic brand by ranking this in the bottom 2.
