Wait why would somebody having a mullet be something that draws people TO that person? I won't go so far as to say Morgan and his team planned a mullet as a way to garner even more attention, but it's definitely his signature now. Much like people found Joe Diffie's mullet charming in the 90's. Morgan is the only artist right now rocking it and it's now become something he's known for. I would never in a million years do that hairstyle but yes, people love it lol. He also sings songs that are mainstream/trendy in production, but still has that country element that is able to appeal to so many demographics. I'll be honest, I didn't see him breaking out after "The Way I Talk", but he's proven me wrong. "More than My Hometown" sounds like a huge radio hit.

The production on “Hometown” and Jake Owen shows Joey Moi is growing as a producer. Less “bro” now...

Holy hell, "Hometown" just debuted at #61 on the Hot 100. It isn't even a radio single yet so that was just purely off sales/streams. That's incredible. It's looking like a huge smash already, and I could see it bumping his status at country radio up into the next tier.

This hits 9136 weekly spins today. Should be the record I think?

Do not be shocked if this song is #1 on the Year End Radio Chart for Mediabase and Billboard because this song has amazing staying power on radio as Morgan has only fell to #5 in Spins despite already going recurrent, and as of right now this song is #1 on the Year to Date on Mediabase.
Also this became his highest charting song on the Hot 100 at #16 officially outpeaking "Whiskey Glasses"

Still loving this one, I wonder if it could ever do something on Pop or AC radio with a remix.

This one grew on me being a single. The more I heard it, the more I "got it." As much as I hate "Up Down," he has become my favorite up and coming male artist other than Luke Combs (who at this point has arrived.) I imagine his next album will take him to superstardom.

It’s starting to feel like Morgan is the only artist who can take forever to climb the chart and not drop like a rock immediately after. “Whiskey Glasses” had an extremely slow drop as well last year.
“More Than My Hometown” is off to a bit of a quicker start luckily.

Chasin' You has just had so much longevity on the charts. Morgan Wallen has really good streaming for a country artist. That and recurrent airplay has been keeping Chasin' You propped up on the Hot 100 long after it's radio run ended. It's now been on the Hot 100 35 weeks and just got back into the Top 40 this week. Very impressive. Hope this continues with More Than My Hometown and 7 Summers.
