Is anyone familiar with Kenny Chesney's discography? Does he have some good songs? Especially some good ballads?

Did anybody note the special connection between Kelsea and Kenny? They both consider Knoxville to be their hometown. So when they sing the lines "my hometown" and "our hometown" (towards the end) in the song, it has real meaning.
My favorite Kenny songs are Don't Happen Twice, How Forever Feels, I Lost It, Me and You, That's Why I'm Here, What I Need to Do, and You Had Me From Hello.

Kenny Chesney was basically my childhood, dude. I don’t really know how to explain his music, but he has a very specific style. He’s mellow, summery, drinking, and life, if that makes sense? Some of my favorite are Don’t Blink, The Good Stuff, and When The Sun Goes Down.
He was always a thought, but I was thinking they just had too big of a difference in style and listeners. This will definitely boost her career though.

Thanks, I will check out the songs you mentioned!
@steveic Can you do a rankdown of the album tracks from your favorite to your least favorite before the album drops? That would be awesome!

Now that Hole in the Bottle is out, you might enjoy seeing this video clip. Start watching at about the 10:02:48 mark (which is about 2 1/2 minutes into it): www.clipsandfootage.com/r/182870

Is anyone familiar with Kenny Chesney's discography? Does he have some good songs? Especially some good ballads? Kenny has an awesome discography and his ballads are his best in most cases. For ballads/midtempos check out: Setting the World on Fire (feat. P!nk) I Lost It You and Tequila (feat. Grace Potter) The Good Stuff Don't Blink You Save Me El Cerrito Place There Goes My Life The Woman With You Anything But Mine Other fantastic songs include: I Go Back Save it for a Rainy Day American Kids Summertime Don't Happen Twice I'm excited for the Kelsea/Kenny duet and the rest of the album. I enjoy all 4 songs thus far (to varying levels) but it's looking to be another really great effort from Kelsea.

Thank you so much for doing this! Now I'm a little bit more excited for the album. I feel like there was much more hype for Unapologetically before it was released.

How is this only at #10 in your ranking? This is the best one so far!

Personal preferences. I'm sure you also won't be rating Homecoming Queen as your #1. ;)

Just to check - no one knows anything about the possibility of a deluxe?
I am still sad my favourites It Takes Some Rain To Grow, Dream Crusher and Underestimated won't be released.

I want to hear these songs so bad Kelsea hasn't mentioned anything about the deluxe yet.

Fairly safe to say at this point that the deluxe won't happen until at least one year after release. The earliest would probably be for holiday shopping season later this year. But as noted in one of my earlier posts, discussions were underway and four songs were originally chosen for the deluxe. The four songs were Flipphone, Why Did You Kiss Me?, The Way I Used To, and No Offense. Of course, The Way I Used To was eventually bumped up to the main album release. At the same time, Too Late To Lie and Break Up were originally slated for the album but bumped off in favor of The Way I Used To and A Country Song. In summary, the five songs that I have bolded are the most likely candidates to be chosen as future deluxe edition tracks.

A minor thing, but I only watched the lyric video for Hole In The Bottle before today and I'm thrilled that the intro and outro are actually part of the song. I was worried they were just for the video.

The Other Girl is just asking to be pushed as a single to multiple formats, also loved Hole In A Bottle and Love Me Like A Girl!

Bragger is one of my favorite things she has ever done!! Bravo!!
I don’t see many hits here (for country at least). hole in the bottle and half of my hometown seem like the only two singles here.
Overall, a good album, but my least favorite of her three so far. Some of the songs kinda blended together for me this time.
The three above + la are the highlights for me.

I quite enjoyed this one. It's early days, but I don't think it tops Unapologetically, though. One or two songs complete were misses for me. It feels a little unfocused and production feels a bit confused in parts. Maybe it's just because I went into this one with such high expectations. Still, some great songs in there. Early favorites are probably The Way I Used To, Half of My Hometown and The Other Girl. I also see myself going back to the last two songs. Oh, and Club.

So "bragger" sounds like a leftover from reputation and her vocals even sound like Taylor's in many sections. It's fun, though! If she doesn't have a pop crossover hit from this album I'll be incredibly shocked.

Just a note regarding the demo clips listed in the very first post as "Not sure what this one is titled (part 1, 2 and 3)". These are all taken from a 2019 song that is mostly piano based that Kelsea recorded in the studio called "Glad I Didn't Know".

I just remembered she mentioned at some point the album cover was blue and she also said in an interview she changed it last minute...Anyone has any guesses what the album cover looked like before?
