I don’t think it’ll do more than what it already has, which is scrape the top 50 to 40 area of the chart.

I would love for this to be even a moderate country hit. I could see radio being somewhat open to it since her presence didn't hold back 'Setting The World On Fire' - or am I being too hopeful in that line of thinking?

He gave David Lee Murphy a #1 on country radio last year based on his name... Plus Chris Stapleton has mediocre to poor callout on country radio.

The Highway has been playing this for a while now. It's okay, but it's so slow - I find it to be a jarring transition no matter what song it follows or precedes. I also really don't like how their voices sound together. Pink sounds great but it's like they had Stapleton on there for the sake of having him on there. I'll be pretty shocked if this does anything at country radio.

I really love this one, but I really don't see Country radio taking this high. Possible they could maybe break the top 40 but that's going to be a stretch too.

I don’t think it’ll do more than what it already has, which is scrape the top 50 to 40 area of the chart. Only one station has given this significant spins (KKBQ in Houston). Almost all of its audience total is from that stations -- nearly 1.0 million in Mediabase audience. The only reason its charted on Billboard Airplay. If in2une Nashville is working this, which I actually had not heard until this thread was started, ( Juan Carlos gave that info) it won't do anything. in2une can't work any song past just charting and even that has been a chore for them, especially with a brand new artist. The only way this can catch on and pick up steam is if another service/label picks it up, like RCA Nashville taking it upon themselves to help out the parent company and finance an actual push. The duet with Kenny Chesney back in 2016 ("Setting the World on Fire") was a totally different situation, with Kenny the main featured artist on his album with his Nashville-based label promoting it. Right now, it won't do much, but we've seen label promotion plans switch up and songs take off before.

This has been officially released to country radio, through Arista Nashville. The Nashville team at Sony Music (P!nk's parent label) will promote it to the country format.

As someone who has not really been on the Chris Stapleton bandwagon these last few years, i actually really like this. Although that could be because i really like most of p!nk's music. Not sure how this will do but i'm hopeful it will be at least somewhat of a hit.

This will be interesting because I can’t see CS releasing a new single while this one is being pushed at radio.

I hope this does well on country radio and gets pushed at HAC/AC/Pop formats. So glad it's getting released as a single.

I'm glad to see this get a proper release too. I hope it's able to catch on and become Pink's second country #1 hit.

Any radio play or is this doa? It was only released to country radio 9 days ago, it has plenty of time to do something. :)

It still hasn’t gone for adds. In fact there’s currently no scheduled adds date.

They both sound like they were asleep in the studio, and I don’t recall a single interesting lyric.

It still hasn’t gone for adds. In fact there’s currently no scheduled adds date. This was sent as impacting immediately, which unless it’s a high profile artist in the format, means it isn’t being rigorously promoted. The fact it hasn’t had any adds since getting sent by Sony Nashville isn’t a good sign. I’m not sure this will do much, beyond re-entering the chart at some point,

Ok, thanks for the explanation.
I know there’s still time, but I was curious to see if there’s any play since the post above with the image says it was released to radio, and I was curious about any updates because I’m sure we’d be posting updates if we had em.

How long do we wait before calling this? I’m new to country radio charts. I don't think this is going to do all that much, beyond a few curiosity spins, unless a Nashville-based label comes in and picks up promotion of it. P!nk is on RCA Records but as far as I understand it, Sony's RCA Nashville imprint is not associated with this song in any way. On a related note, it's crazy to me to see Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey" in the Mediabase top 50 FOUR YEARS AFTER he had his viral breakthrough performance at the 2015 CMAs (I wonder why Billboard hasn't allowed "Tennessee Whiskey" to re-enter the Country Airplay chart?) I know Stapleton has released a couple albums since Traveler, but he and the label really should just officially push "Tennessee Whiskey" to radio. It's clear that radio is hungry for something from Stapleton, and "Tennessee Whiskey" is a smash hit...it just never was at radio. It's like his most known song, and it wasn't even an official radio single. Despite that, "Tennessee Whiskey" still went #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, and is 6x Platinum. And radio is still interested in playing it, four years later. Currently, "Tennessee Whiskey" is still #7 on Billboard's Country Streaming Songs chart (trailing only Blanco Brown's "The Git Up", Marshmello & Kane Brown's "One Thing Right", Luke Combs' "Beautiful Crazy", Morgan Wallen's "Whiskey Glasses", Diplo & Morgan Wallen's "Heartless", and Luke Combs' "Beer Never Broke My Heart") and it's at #16 on the most recent country sales chart. The interest in "Tennessee Whiskey" just hasn't died off, hardly at all. I don't think we've ever seen a situation remotely similar to this.

All access is showing a spincrease (approximate bullet) of 144 spins this week on country radio. A good sign stations are picking the song up.
