The stream isn't working for me The stream isn't working for me It isn't working for me either... I checked yesterday and it was there (Midland even retweeted the link), however it did disappear today for apparently no reason.

Excellent record. They got even more traditional.
1. Lost In The Night (this is straight from the 70’s) 2. Fourteen Gears 3. Put The Hurt On Me 4. Playboys 5. Gettin The Feel 6. Mr Lonely 7. Every Songs a Drinkin Song 8. I Love You, Goodbye 9. Fast Hearts and Slow Towns 10. Cheating Songs 11. 21st Century 12. Roll Away 13. Cheating By The Rules 14. Let It Roll (this ones the only one I don’t care for)
Put The Hurt On Me is the smash hit of the album. Outside of that, not sure what’s a fit for radio. Playboys maybe? Fast Hearts and Slow Towns?

I need to give this a more attentive listen later, but right now I like this more than the last album and “Mr. Lonely” is not one of my favorites on it. Looking forward to seeing what the future single choices are.

Really strong album! Even the weaker links here are nice "Fourteen Gears" is definitely my favorite, but I have to say "Lost In The Night" was a great surprise! Definitely a close second! "Put The Hurt On Me" sounds like a obvious single to me. I think "Cheatin' Songs", "Fast Hearts And Slow Towns" and "Playboys" all would work too.
My personal ranking
1. Fourteen Gears 10 2. Lost In The Night 10 3. Put The Hurt On Me 10 4. Cheatin' Songs 9.5
5. Fast Hearts And Slow Towns 9 6. Playboys 8.5 7. I Love You, Goodbye 8.5 8. Let It Roll 8
9. Roll Away 8 10. Gettin' The Feel 8 11. 21st Century Honky Tonk American Band 7.5 12. Mr. Lonely 7 13. Every Song's A Drinkin' Song 6.5 14. Cheatin' By The Rules 6.5
8.3/10

This is pretty much a flawless album, and even better than their debut IMO. It’s like they doubled down on their authentic sound rather than go more mainstream to fit in better at radio. “Cheatin’ Songs” and “Put The Hurt On Me” would both make great single choices for radio. “Cheatin’ Songs” is probably my favorite song of the year so far, just absolutely amazing. I’d love for that one to be the second single, I think it could really stand out and sell well like “Drinking Problem” did. “Fast Hearts And Slow Towns”, “I Love You, Goodbye” and “Fourteen Gears” are all big standouts too and possible radio options. There’s not a bad song or even mediocre song on this album.

I agree this album is pretty great from top to bottom, only a few "duds" in the mix. I was disappointed they re-recorded "Fourteen Gears", but I get why. It has to fit into this album's feel. The original version from 2015 is still way better. I still think "Put The Hurt On Me" is the albums peak, and maybe my favorite song this year. But I REALLY liked "Every Song's A Drinking Song", "I Love You, Goodbye", "Cheatin' By The Rules" and "Lost In The Night".
I will also add that both "Mr. Lonely" and "Fast Hearts and Slow Towns" seem to fit in better with the album, while listening in sequence. Even though it's been out for a few months, I was totally jamming to "Mr Lonely" this morning in my car.
I really hope they can get some radio success with this era.

The Highway is playing this for On the Horizon this weekend. I only heard a few songs but everything I heard sounded great! Gonna have to check this out.

Not bad sales numbers considering the lead single hasn't really taken off at radio yet.

I haven't listened to the album enough to give a fair ranking/review, but the song I keep going back to since my first listen is Playboys. Grows on me a little more with every listen! Really hoping Mr. Lonely can pick up it's pace and we see Playboys as a single by the end of the year.

They released a new version of "Cheatin' Songs". I won't bump that single thread, since the single seems to be done at radio.
I like it. Too bad the single didn't do better at radio.

I’ll say this and no offense to Old Dominion at all but these guys should be giving them a run for the money at awards shows.
