Luke sounded great tonight, but I was really hoping to hear him sing this song instead.

Yeah, I was confused why he didn’t sing his current single, considering it’s in the top 2 currently.

Yeah I'm not sure why he didn't sing this.
He doesn't need any help on the charts, but it would've been nice to showcase a song like this to a national audience.

Not even 3 months and in the Top 2. That's beyond phenomenal! This song deserves it.
Wish he would've performed this song though. Congratulations on the two CMA wins! Very well deserved!

Luke is predicted to move up 16 spots to #17 on the Hot 100! It's almost guaranteed that he'll be top 20 at least.

A second #1 Top Country Album (the first of which historically ties Shania Twain's 50 week record), his first Billboard 200 #1 album, and seven consecutive #1 singles, the latest of which took just two months. Absolutely phenomenal. Every bit of it is well-deserved! Luke Combs is easily the best country artist to come from the 2010s decade, and as Garth said, he has EOTY easily, likely in 2020. Legend status already cemented tbh

This is #11 on the Billboard Hot 100! That’s way higher than I expected but I’m really glad about it. Typically I would say for a country song to make it that high on the Hot 100 they should consider sending this to CHR but this one is such a straight up country song that I don’t know if it would even be a possibility.

Before He Cheats was undeniably country and look what happened when it crossed over...116M views so far on YouTube. Perhaps pop would embrace this song especially if it's so high up on the Hot 100?

This is his biggest hit based on Billboard Hot 100 peaks. I'm really glad because this is my favorite song he's put out, although Beautiful Crazy still seems like his biggest hit.

This song has outpeaked every Luke Bryan's songs on Hot 100. (Play It Again peaked at #14)

From the article: Yeah he's officially an absolute powerhouse. Simply incredible. Can't wait to see him win his first Grammy Awards (so proud and not surprised at 2019's BNA nom)! For context/perspective, WYSIWYG earned 172,000 AEUs (album-equivalent units) and 109,000 of that was a CD copy. As the article states, it's the biggest since 2018, when Carrie sold 266,000 AEUs of Cry Pretty and 251,000 of that was a CD (oof can you tell that most of us Carrie stans are from 2005 when streaming didn't count)

I am absolutely shocked that this went to number 11! Never would have imagined that this would happen, though I wish it entered the top 10

I hope it can stick around long enough to make the Billboard Year-End List for 2020, it's at its peak right now and the 2020 chart year is about to begin.

Beautiful Crazy had ridiculously high streaming and longevity for a country song, which I unfortunately don't think Even Though I'm Leaving will be able to match, despite the higher peak.

So is this the final BB/MB #1 of their chart year. I know it ends in late November/early December so I think this could be it. Kinda an interesting song to end the decade since it talks about leaving.

Today (Nov. 24th) marks the start of week #3 of the 2020 Mediabase chart year, and Luke is as hot as can be--no doubt about it. He's certainly a great asset to country radio.
