"Nightfall" is great! The vocal arrangement is beautiful, great use of harmony, and I love the production and the beat. I'm so happy that I've loved everything from the upcoming album so far lol. This comes from the production team of Golden Hour.

“Nightfall” is amazing and the best thing I’ve heard from them in a few years for sure. A smash!

4/4 with me. Cannot wait to hear the album in full next week; it’s already eclipsed The Breaker for me in terms of replay value.

I think Nightfall should’ve been the lead single. Not that Over Drinking is bad, but Nightfall sounds like a smash

LBT performed "Sugar Coat" yesterday morning on the Today Show: Gorgeous performance. They need to just dump their current single and send this out to radio asap.

LBT’s performance of “Over Drinking” from this mornings Live with Kelly and Ryan...I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that this will turn into a hit for them.

I actually would not be shocked if this song has hit the end of the road and is free-falling or about too as "Over Drinking" fell out of the Mediabase Top 50 today and since Monday this song lost over 300k in audience and over 50 spins (I imagine today added more spins and audience losses as well).
I gave their new album a listen a few days ago and I will say that I don't quite hear any radio friendly songs but given buzz I would probably go with "Next To You" or "Sugar Coat" as the second single, but with that being said I would not be shocked if Little Big Town is done with country radio hits given how long it has been since "Better Man" (I will always say "Night On Our Side" should have been the followup single not "Happy People") and just how many new acts have emerged since their last huge hit.

Really didn't expect Wine, Beer, Whiskey rocket to top 5 iTunes all-genre after TODAY show performance. Future single choice?

Took a little longer than I expected but "Over Drinking" is done. Fell off the Billboard Airplay chart and is nowhere near the Top 50 on Mediabase as well. Billboard Peak was #49
Not shocked this song failed so spectacularly, there was never much buzz to this song ever since it was released and this song stands out a bit too much on country radio with it's bluesy production, and I think country radio in general is phasing Little Big Town out as a whole.

Would another "drinking" song fare any better for them though?

I am obsessed with “Wine Beer Whiskey” but I would like “Sugar Coat” next.

"Sugar Coat" or bust. I still think it's the standout on the album and one of the few songs that I feel could turn into a hit for them, albeit it'll probably be something that struggles at first like "Girl Crush" did, i.e. There's not really a lot of radio potential on this album. Honestly, "Over Drinking" was the safest single option they had and it totally bombed so who knows. "Wine, Beer, Whiskey" doesn't strike me as a single, either. It's one of the few more uptempo choices on the record, but it sounds pretty polarizing to me and I just can't imagine it doing better than this single did really.

Honestly (and it sounds like I'm in the minority) "Wine, Beer, Whiskey" is one of my LEAST favorite songs. It sounds too out-of-place for them. (of course, that having been said, what DOES fit their sound/niche isn't working ... so who knows)
