Just saw this now, and how dare you. I HATE Bob That Head, but RF has a lot of garbage so some garbage had to be higher than other garbage. I own loving “The Weekend” but will not take this slander about me stanning Bob That Head. Says the highest ranker of “Bob That Head” ⚰️ did you not understand my post? It’s still shit

Says the highest ranker of “Bob That Head” ⚰️ did you not understand my post? It’s still s**t No matter how much you protest and complain, nothing will ever change the fact that you were the highest ranker for "Bob That Head". Anyway, you know darn well that you being the highest ranker of "Bob That Head" is not why I started shading you.

Everyone that had mentioned interest have submitted their rankings so I'd like to thank all twelve participants for being patient as I know this has been open for quite some time. 1. What song will be #1? Good As I Was to You, or possible I Didn't Know My Own Strength?
2. What other songs will be in the top 5? Something in Red and at least one duet (leaning towards Maybe Not Tonight) if not two. Possibly Go Away or Watch Me?
3. What song will be #50? Sleigh Ride.
4. What other songs will be in the bottom 5? Do You Still Wanna Buy Me That Drink, Us Girls, Come See Me and Come Lonely, 'Til a Tear Becomes a Rose.
5. What songs are likely to be most polarizing? My Favorite Things, You'd Think He'd Know Me Better, My Night to Howl.
6. What songs are likely to be least polarizing? Good As I Was to You, I Didn't Know My Own Strength, Something in Red, most of her later singles.
7. Of the two holiday songs selected ("My Favorite Things" and "Sleigh Ride") which one is likely to place higher and where at? My Favorite Things for sure. I'm going to guess around #30.
8. Any other thoughts or predictions? I just hope MFT doesn't land in bottom 5... :X

1. What song will be #1? Gonna guess "Something in Red"
2. What other songs will be in the top 5? "Good as I Was to You," "Five Minutes," "What Part of No," and "Out of Your Shoes" all seem like likely top 5s.
3. What song will be #50? "Sleigh Ride"
4. What other songs will be in the bottom 5? Her song with Beach Boys, "Slow," "Don't Go Changing," "Leavin' on Your Mind," maybe one of the duets with Pam?
5. What songs are likely to be most polarizing? Probably the songs from War Paint
6. What songs are likely to be least polarizing? "Something in Red" and "What Part of No"
7. Of the two holiday songs selected ("My Favorite Things" and "Sleigh Ride") which one is likely to place higher and where at? "My Favorite Things" and I think her rendition of it is iconic enough that I see it escaping the bottom 10. "Sleigh Ride" will likely be bottom 3 tho.
8. Any other thoughts or predicitions? Really hoping that the War Paint selections do okay here. I know that album was a real flop during her heyday, but I still don't understand why because it is by far her strongest set in this rankdown imo (all of its 4 songs made my top 15).

1. What song will be #1? "Five Minutes"
2. What other songs will be in the top 5? "Something In Red", "Good As I Was To You", "Except For Monday", "What Part Of No"
3. What song will be #50? Probably "Sleigh Ride", just because it's a Christmas song and there really isn't anything bad in this playlist.
4. What other songs will be in the bottom 5? "Us Girls", "Two People In Love", "The Color Of The Roses", "Crying Time".
5. What songs are likely to be most polarizing? "My Night To Howl", "Slow", "War Paint", "Standing Tall", the Sammy Kershaw duets.
6. What songs are likely to be least polarizing? Many of her biggest hits like "Something In Red", "Five Minutes", "Except For Monday", "Good As I Was To You", "Watch Me". And then newer stuff like the Pam Tillis duets.
7. Of the two holiday songs selected ("My Favorite Things" and "Sleigh Ride") which one is likely to place higher and where at? "My Favorite Things" will do better. It might escape bottom 5, but I be it'll still be bottom 10.
8. Any other thoughts or predicitions? Such a STRONG list!!! But there are clear upper-region songs and clear lower-region songs. There are certain songs that y'all better NOT have done dirty... I'm most worried about ballads being tanked just because they are ballads. Like if "Dear Me", "Something In Red", "Good As I Was To You", etc. get low rankers, those people can lose my number.

1. What song will be #1? "Something in Red" and "If You Came from Heaven" are among the most deserving of winning this.
2. What other songs will be in the top 5? "Except for Monday," "If You Came from Heaven," "What Part of No, "He Talks to Me," "Something in Red" (crossed out other since I highlighted two songs in the first question)
3. What song will be #50? "Sleigh Ride" easily
4. What other songs will be in the bottom 5? "Leavin' On Your Mind," one of the Pam duets, the Beach boys collab, "My Favorite Things"
5. What songs are likely to be most polarizing? "War Paint," "Slow," and Sammy's appearances
6. What songs are likely to be least polarizing? "Except for Monday," "Something in Red," "What Part of No," etc.
7. Of the two holiday songs selected ("My Favorite Things" and "Sleigh Ride") which one is likely to place higher and where at? "My Favorite Things" at #49
8. Any other thoughts or predicitions? Lorrie Morgan wasn't played too often around me growing up which means she was a great discovery! Found a couple of songs that I found just stunning, such as "Something in Red". That song is just incredible and I'd love to see it win and it wasn't even my #1, that's how good my favorite discoveries were. Also I swear that as a kid I did at least hear "Except for Monday" in passing which leads me to wonder--and it probably isn't--if that song is one of her most well-known hits.

Thanks to everyone that took time to do the pre-reveal questions and I can already see that there will be a few surprises as we make our way through the list. Let's get started shall we...
The first song to exit comes in as the 4th least polarizing song and just happens to not be a Christmas song!

“Don’t Go Changing” was one of two stand-alone singles issued by MCA Records in 1984 with this one becoming a minor Top 70 hit at the time. Despite two top 30 rankings it remained a bottom two contender for most if not the entire time thanks in part to the handful of bottom five rankings it received along with bboat11 who get’s a perfect ranking right out of the gate!

“Good Morning Heartache” is an album track selected from Lorrie’s 1998 album Secret Love which was composed entirely of cover songs dating largely from the 1940s and 1950s, and produced no singles. This song was first recorded by jazz singer Billie Holiday in 1946 and has been covered by a diverse group of artists including the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Gladys Knight, Diana Ross, and Gretchen Wilson. Kanenrá:ke becomes our first participant to lose a top 20 while @xfer departs with a top 25. Most of the rankings, however, fell to the bottom ten of people’s lists including four bottom five rankings and a last place from toomuchboy . bboat11 scores back-to-back perfect rankings losing his bottom two!!

“Two People in Love” is the first of two singles issued by Hickory Records in 1979 and was written by Eddy Raven and Liz Anderson. While this did receive a handful of top 40 support and a top 30 from taylor it just wasn’t enough to withstand the four bottom five rankings which kept this hovering within the bottom three for most of its run. This ended up coming in as the least polarizing song of the rankdown!

“29 Again” was released as the final single from Lorrie and Sammy Kershaw’s I Finally Found Someone album which was released in 2001. While the album is largely composted of duets between the two artists, this song only included Lorrie as its performer. @xfer becomes our second participant to depart with a top 20 while .indulgecountry loses a top 30. For a song that received not one, not two, but three last place rankings from myself, RobbyFlorida , and taylor it’s somewhat surprising this managed to escape the bottom two altogether, but that is thanks in part to the mid-level support it received from those that put this within’ their top 40.

“Sleigh Ride” is one of two Christmas songs selected from Lorrie’s Merry Christmas from London album which was released in 1993. The album features The New World Philharmonic and Choir who provide traditional orchestral and vocal backing throughout the album. This has not only been a go-to song for me during the holidays but is also one of my favorite songs from Lorrie, so in turn I become the first participant to lose a top 15 ranking. Not everyone is a fan of Christmas music, however, as this received three bottom five rankings and a last place from George Strait Junkie . This did about as well as I thought it might and I’m just happy it was able to escape the bottom three if anything.

The bottom 2 were both pretty terrible so I'm happy with those going early. "Sleigh Ride" also belonged in that bottom 5, too.
But wtf @ "29 Again" getting tanked to hell. 3 last place ranks for it?! Literally wut. I am confusion.

But wtf @ "29 Again" getting tanked to hell. 3 last place ranks for it?! Literally wut. I am confusion. I just find the song a bit dreary overall and while I like it lyrically the song itself just never manages to hold my attention long enough. I thought I was being a bit harsh with my last place ranking, but as the lists came in I realized maybe some of us had the same feeling about it.
