This is an attempt at hosting a rankdown series of the most popular songs released each month. None of these will be on past months, only this September forward. There will be 10 or 15 songs each month, I still need to decide. I may also include a bonus in which you can submit your favorite songs released that month that were not on the rankdown. These will usually open the Tuesday falling on the 5th-11th of the following month and be due on the Sunday falling on the 17th-23rd. TBA.
The first one will open next Friday. Let me know if you have any thoughts or comments on this.

Seems cool do kinda wish we had more than just mainstream hot 100 releases tho Bear with me on this, because I really didn't know how to choose which songs would be on this list, I ended up sticking with pretty much the Hot 100. I chose to use 2 songs from Post's album since they each charted very high and that he is one of the most popular artists in the world right now. I didn't want to use more than one from DaBaby because he is less popular, but one of the songs is predicted to just miss the Top 10 and the other went #1 on US Spotify. I didn't want to use too many urban songs in general either, just so more people knew most of the songs on the list. I originally looked to find what songs could make the list using the iTunes chart. 2 songs reached #1 on that chart this month but failed to debut on the Hot 100 (The Father My Son and the Holy Ghost, Somebody to Love, and possibly Chicken Noodle Soup next week as well). I also considered putting "Camelot", which debuted Top 40, on this list. For the most part I wanted to use songs that charted and were getting airplay. Plus you have the side game I posted on this thread where anyone submitting could choose up to 5 songs released last month that didn't make the cut and I would give each points. If anyone thinks I should be choosing the songs on this list differently in the future, tell me because I could use some tips. |

In all fairness though I liked how you chose the songs. There was a lot of urban but there was two huge albums and as well as some big names releasing music. But if Rihanna & Adele both drop music in November..
