Not bad just extremely one note. Mood is the only song I hear some personally in it. I can't tell any of the the other 3 songs apart. They all sound the exact same song to me.

The album is expected to be recorded this summer. Rita said the following: "I wanted to remind people that be in control of yourself, you have to take risks. I challenged myself by doing something like an EP rather than an album. I didn't want any pressure. I just wanted to experiment. I needed that for myself. When I do my own album, which I will probably end up recording this summer, I now have a new lease of life. [Bang] is like a bridge. I'm doing a lot of songwriting. I'm definitely getting way more in tune with my vulnerable side. There's going to be a lot more emotion with this record. This year has been such a transformative experience for all of us that to be transparent is really what we need. With this new album, I'm going to really get deep." |

I've been pretty hit or miss with Rita Ora through out her career.
However more hit than not in the more recent years.
I really liked most of "Phoenix" and own the deluxe.
I also liked her latest EP. "Bang Bang and Big" were my favorites.
She also did a collaboration with Sophia Reyes called "R.I.P" that was really cute.
Looking forward to new her new music!

Signed to BMG for her upcoming third album. This means she'll be one of the rare cases where an artist releases their first 3 studio albums at 3 different major labels. Her musical career has been interesting to say the least. https://www.instagram.com/p/CZhi4eip63W

BMG is considered an independent label (at least by American standards). Good for her though. You’re right. They are not the big 3 (I confused it with the old BMG which is now merged into Sony). But it is a good fit for her, and she might get even better resources in the UK considering BMG has some of the biggest female pop stars there (Dido, Kylie Minogue, Jess Glynne, Mabel). |
