Lol like I said, we should've let the song's performance speak for itself. 9.9 million WW means over 4 million US, assuming the play counter is accurate. This was the first thing I said about Highest in the Room. It's being received terribly. Everyone is saying it sucks and it does. It's such a disappointment coming off a song as critically acclaimed and as commercially successful as Sicko Mode. It'll debut with strong figures because it's his first lead single since Sicko Mode, but it won't have anywhere near the longevity of Sicko Mode. |

In other news, Juice WRLD and NBA Youngboy's "Bandit" had over 2.6 million worldwide streams on the play counter, depending on the accuracy it should do around 1.5 million US. Summer Walker's album didn't do as well on Spotify as its doing on AM but that was expected.
Dan+Shay featuring JB, 4.4 million.

I don't see this song falling off anytime soon. For the sake of your confidence, I hope you're right. It's common practice for lead singles to be compared. Any new singles Rihanna or Adele release will be compared to their last lead singles by fans and the media. It might seem unfair, but that's what comes with being a successful artist. |

I believe a top 10 debut is certain for 10,000 hours and a top 3 debut is certain for Highest in the Room.

Damn Highest In The Room got 9,915,105 streams WW first day on Spotify, it will be discounted later today a bit when they update Global Top 50 but still this is way more than i expected from the song. Only 10 songs have gotten more than 9 million streams in a day. You got that figure from the play counter, right? He'll probably end up anywhere from 8.3-9 million streams on the official Spotify Global chart. I'm surprised the song isn't #1 on US iTunes yet but we'll probably get some ridiculous figure from all the bundles he sells along with the single that Billboard will count. I won't be surprised if he ends up doing 100K pure sales. I wonder if Mayman will still see the song as a one-off single when/if it debuts at #1. I take back everything I'm so happy this song could potentially debut at #1. Let's hope the numbers stay stable throughout the week! |

Travβs is huge, but Dan+Shay doing that well is kinda crazy, and Bandit being big was not something I expected, since Graduation flopped. Oh, and 14 Summer Walker songs charted, with two in the top 50. |

It sounds like a song that is gonna get spammed on pop radio long after it should die.

what are your guys' way of counting apple music and website song sales in your hot 100 predictions? For AM I tend to look at the HDD streaming songs chart, deduct Spotify weekly totals and another small portion for other streaming services. For example, Bop by DaBaby had 20.2 million on-demand streams last week according to HDD, we know that 7.7 million came from Spotify. That means around 11 million came from AM, counting for other on-demand streaming services. Divide that by 7 and we can assume that Bop averaged around 1.5 million streams per day on AM last week. Very convoluted method, I'm sure there are better ways. |

Juice WRLD fans dont seem to like his pop collabs, Chainsmokers,Halsey, Ellie Goulding, BTS, Benny Blanco collabs all underperformed on streaming. A collab with another upcoming rapper is more suited for his fanbase. |
