"Come Thru" with Usher is #2 on Apple Music.
Wasn't there a discussion a few weeks ago if Usher will get another Hot 100 hit lol?

Highest In The Room is almost at 11 million views. I'm sure a good amount are from the US.

as of right now I’m betting 10,000 Hours will have a higher debut that Highest In The Room

as of right now I’m betting 10,000 Hours will have a higher debut that Highest In The Room I don't think so imo. It's way below HITN on streaming. There's not a huge gap in sales. 10KH will have a lead on radio, but HITN will also have some radio points.

I wonder if Highest in the Room will have any staying power. So many songs have came close to debuting at #1 in the past couple of years and then dropped a bunch the next week (Nonstop, Mona Lisa, If I Can’t Have You, You Need to Calm Down) and I wonder if Highest in the Room will be the first to make it all the way to number one and then drop out of the top ten the next week.

Travis is the longevity king so I don't think we'll need to worry about that!

wait crap I forgot about the bundles.. ok now I’m in the consensus that HITR is gonna debut highest (but 10k hours won’t be far behind) but then fall a ton the next week

hmmm i don't see "highest in the room" debuting at #1. if anything, it might get there later with either a remix, album bomb, or music video (maybe some combinations of those things down the road). top 5 seems pretty likely though.
"10k hours" is doing very well on sales and probably has a radio deal, but i see it debuting lower than travis because his streaming is just stronger, which will accumulate more points.
edit: just realized HITR has a music video. it'll def debut higher than dan + shay/justin bieber

It's doing amazing on Apple Music and Spotify and it's music video is doing well. Sales+bundles will help as well.

My prediction is HITR debuts at #2 and 10k Hours at #7

It's gonna be tough to say which song is gonna get more sales between 10k Hours and HITR. On one hand, Bieber and D+S have a massive lead on iTunes which eclipses Truth Hurts, which was doing around 25k-27k per week, but on the other, Travis's fans are very, very dedicated and will buy pretty much anything he puts out (even the Skrillex remix of Sicko Mode, which got a decent amount of pure sales from his store).

10k Hours is now in the top 10 on AM. Would be #3 without the 2 album bombs above it

Does anyone know what HITN would need to hit #1? Some combo of like 20k pure + 45m on demand + 10m YT would do it

Does anyone know what HITN would need to hit #1? It’s streaming numbers are slightly ahead of Circles on Spotify which debuted number 4. Would need significantly better longevity, since it will have weaker sales and radio.

There are still some things that need to be seen.
First is just how many physical units HITR will move from Travis' store and all the bundles he's got in place for this week. 10K hours will debut with strong digital sales figures, but HITR might outdo those figures because of considerable bundle support.
Second, we have to wait and see just how well HITR holds, but I'm betting it puts up bigger streaming totals for the week than 10K hours. It pulled in more views on YouTube in the first day, but it's left to be seen if those figures remain consistent throughout the tracking week.
Third, 10K hours will most definitely win the radio race. I could see it reaching anywhere from 25-30 million audience impressions but the end of the tracking week. Possibly higher.
All in all, I think both songs are primed for a top 10 debut. Their performance after the first week will determine how many weeks they get to spend in the top 10.

Circles debuted with 2.5m and Travis did 3.9m first day. Not to mention Travis is probably doing 3x what Circles did on AM

It's crazy to think that label politics cost us a Lil Wayne x Drake x Post Malone song last year. Would have been earthshatteringly huge if it actually came out.
