"Perfect Places" and "Green Light" are both great songs but I think the former holds a bit better after a few years (possibly because it was never properly pushed like the latter). This Top 10 is flawless! Thanks for hosting, Samo.

I mean I put Green Light in my top 10 because it’s good, but Perfect Places and Ribs are just on another level. Either of them absolutely deserved to win. No competition. ;-;

“Supercut” has proven to be the biggest grower (for me) throughout the years. It went from being a Melodrama album track to a nostalgic feelgood anthem. Totally. ‘Supercut’ wouldn’t have been even close to my favourite track on Melodrama upon release. |

Supercut was actually my first intro to Melodrama as I wasn’t into music at the time but it was on the FIFA 18 soundtrack. Definitely one of the standouts on the soundtrack (along with Kovic’s Drown which you should absolutely check out), and still one of my favorites on the album

There was a four-way tie for 3rd place in the voting; we'll be getting through all of them before the next round of voting, but to decide their order I just used the number of people who voted for them initially, so it'll be: 1. Prince 2. Adele (with 30 finally out, we can get to her round) 3. Tove Lo 4. Christina Aguilera 5. Charli XCX (she has more votes than Christina, but I wanted to wait until Crash is out before her round starts) That means Prince is next, so I'll set the deadline further along than usual, due to the size of his discography (I'll also be making a singles-only playlist to go alongside the full one). (if you plan on including anything from Lovesexy, the tracks are being counted separately, there just isn't a version on Spotify that doesn't combine them into one track) |

I actually really, really enjoy these as a way to discover new music. It sounds like he has a lot of music….can we just listen and rank the singles only? |

yeah, you don’t have to hear his entire discography, although if you want to not miss out on any of his better non-singles I would recommend listening to Dirty Mind, 1999, Purple Rain and Sign “O” The Times in full
