This is awful, more generic snap-clapping nonsense...I don't really know anything about these girls, but I will be seeing them live later this month when they open up for Michael Ray on the CMT tour.

Holy crap, this is absolutely FANTASTIC. Those harmonies, ughhhh, yes please!  Love the production and melody too. Very light, breezy, catchy number. The music video is also stunning. They're giving me a bit of a JaneDears Girl vibe with all the glitter and flashy wardrobe in the video, plus them both playing instruments (and not conventional ones -- like the blonde girl at a drumset, just like JDG) and one being blonde and the other with darker hair. The vocal delivery reminds me of a less polarizing version of them as well. This is all a positive thing for me as I loved that duo and their debut record is still one of my faves. I'm very excited to see how this does and hear more from this duo. My curiosity is definitely highly piqued by this released. |

The snap-clap thing is starting to wear thin on me as well but I actually liked most of them to start with, as long as there's more to the song than just that element. I think it works well here. Their pre-warner ep and single was good too and I think more up your alley. |

Liked this on first listen/watch. They sound great together and I dig one of them being a drummer. The song feels a bit low-key as a debut single (taking into consideration country radio’s general apathy towards X chromosomes) but it’s still very catchy so I hope it gains some momentum for them.

This is so close to being great, but the production really holds it back. The backbeat is way too loud (and frankly, completely unnecessary), and a really strong chorus melody is buried beneath a wall of sound. Their voices sound really good though. I get a strong Maddie & Tae vibe, which I love, so I'm excited to hear more from them.
