JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE REVEALS LIZZO, MEEK MILL, & SZA COLLABORATIONS
Justin Timberlake is lining up some big-name collaborations.

It’s been a year-and-a-half since his last album, but the singer is back in the studio cooking up some heat. During an interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” JT revealed that he has collaborated with Meek Mill, SZA, and Lizzo.

“I just called my publishers and I said, ‘I just wanna work with young, fresh people, and I want to collaborate more,'” he said. “I’ve been songwriting and producing for so long, I wanna experience that energy and I wanna work with people that I think are truly amazing and Lizzo came by.”

He met the “Truth Hurts” rapper at the Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony in June. “I was like, ‘I’m such a fan. If you ever wanna write…’ I think she thought I was lying, but we got in and we got a couple of ideas and I don’t know when they’re gonna come out, but they’re pretty good.”

So what can fans expect from their collabo? “It’s flames. It is so good. I’m so excited about it,” said Timberlake, who shared footage from their studio sessions on social media.

He’s also been in the lab with SZA and Meek Mill. “I’m having these experiences that are fueling me in such a different way,” he said. “I think it was really birthed out of what can I do right now to just be a part of my community and integrate.”

SZA previously spoke about connecting with the “Cry Me a River” singer. “Before I was like, ‘What the f**k am I doing in the studio with Justin Timberlake right now? This is crazy,’” she told Kerwin Frost. “But when I heard his music and we started singing together… It’s like, ‘Oh, we speak the same language. The same frequency.’ Our ears speak the same language. I understood where he was going before he could finish a run.”

Yeah, I don't think there's anything he can do in this climate with his particular background and the general swell of public opinion. Which isn't to say I feel sorry for him or it's undeserved, but I just don't see people welcoming him with open arms.

...especially with his "I really want to work with the black people topping the charts I mean young, cool, fresh people!" attitude.

If he were several years younger I’d say sure, but he needs too much of an image overhaul at this point.. and it will be a lot harder to come back after 40. Trying to be “cool” again when you’re twice the age of the average pop radio listener is not easy.

I'm not at all. In fact, those are exactly the Black artists I EXPECT would want to work with him. We have two critical darlings - one who has worked with Maroon 5 and the other who is the Queen of the Beckies. Anyway, best of luck to him. I still enjoy MOTW.

Justin Timberlake was photographed holding hands with co-star Alisha Wainwright, but a source close to the star downplayed it as “nothing.”

“He was on an open balcony. They were among friends. It was nothing,” a source close to the camp told Page Six.

“There is 100 percent nothing going on,” a Timberlake source said.

The Sun obtained exclusive video and photos of the pair hanging out at the bar in New Orleans where they are shooting the movie “Palmer,” in which Wainwright, 30, plays Timberlake’s lover.

Sources told the Sun Timberlake, 38, who is married to actress Jessica Biel, “appeared to have been drinking heavily and was unsteady on his feet.”

One onlooker told the pub, “[Timberlake and Wainwright] were smiling and laughing. At one stage, he grabbed her hand and rested it on his knee. She then gently started stroking his leg. Then he clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands.”

Timberlake was reportedly not wearing his wedding ring. A rep for the star did not comment.

If I was his wife I'd pissed you holding hands, having her hands on your knee and flirty. Plus you're a celebrity so even more embarrassing the whole world is seeing it.

At least they weren't as gratuitous (so far) as LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were when he was cheating on Brandi Glanville and she was literally sucking on his fingers in public in a restaurant (WHO DOES THAT?; I am a full on ho but I have never sucked fingers or anything else at the dining table ever) and they were captured on CCTV so there are receipts.

seriously, all we need at this point is Christina to dish some tea about him from their 2004 tour and the full circle moment is COMPLETE. he's been extremely lucky that the women he's wronged have been more mature than he is and chose to stay quiet for as long as they did instead of lighting him up like he deserved.

karma never forgets to cycle back around tho, and this album campaign is already turning out to be an even bigger PR disaster than his last. Alexa, play "What Goes Around..."!
