Ughhhhhhhh, Icona Pop is such a tough one for me. There's no denying that they make solid tunes, but the vocals are...difficult for me to get past, at times.

What poor song misses out on our top 10? Well, it's one that is really going to hate that it didn't finish top 10. Not only did this spend the majority of its time in the top 10, this song was in the top 3 for quite awhile and even spent time at #1. Sadly for it, this fell a bit short of #1.

I've just checked the writing credits of "All Night" and Nick Littlemore and Luke Steele, who are members of Empire of the Sun, are there. Oh!

I completely forgot that this was a thing. I was wondering why after a day of not being on Pulse I get 15 new notifications.

God, I was rooting for this song so hard. This quickly became one of my favorite songs of the decade. This is absolutely perfect. This hit top 50 kinda quickly on CHR, and I was excited to see what it could turn into, then it just flared out like a week later and never came back lmao. This sounds like an absolute smash. When this was doing so well in the beginning, I thought it was gonna finish in the top 3 or 5, then some low ranks came in. It was disheartening to see this finish at #11.

While I'm glad I didn't lose a top ten at any point this set...ugh, I was rooting for this to make the top ten. This works better than it should.

Hard to say because I don't know any of these.
I'll say the Carly Rae Jepsen song will win because I feel a lot of people on Pulse like Carly

Wow 8 of my top 10 songs are still in! As long as Jason Derulo doesn't win I'm cool, even though there's one song outside of "Cheyenne" that I don't have in my top 10... I don't know I just never got the Jason Derulo hype even when his songs were good ("Cheynne" for example), I didn't tank it though~

Let's get er finished! #10 sees ten top 10s leave, but nothing past the top 3. Two people are clearing their bottom 10s on this one. This song had a slow start before climbing and climbing, then falling a bit, then climbing back up again into the top 10.

This was always my favorite from Revival. This was way better than any of the singles that weren't "Good for You", and I was frustrated when they never sent this to radio. I loved this when it was out, but as time as wore on, I feel like Selena's vocals come off as weaker on this to me. I've always been between this being a really good vocal, but at times, it wasn't so great, lol.

Probably the best Selena song I've heard. I've liked some songs from her before, but none this much.

#9 clears two more bottom 10s. Also, we have a new record of top 10s, as this song comes with nine! This song has a pretty similar trek to "Sober" – slow start, but built gradually to get to the top 10.

The first half of The 20/20 Experience was great and a revival for JT. Then part two came and was super underwhelming, lol. This is easily my favorite from the second part. Just has a really wild and dark vibe to it that I love.

The best song may be on the first 20/20 Experience, but this is pretty damn good, too.

#8 is a big one. We lose six people in the top 3, and two of those are #1s. Four more people join those in the top 10. #8 also sees our last song to spend time at #1. Yes, no other song besides this, "Love Like We Used To", and our eventual winner spent time at #1. This is also our first song to not leave the top 10 at all during the rankdown.

This was the song that put me straight into full stan mode for OneRepublic. I had loved every single before this ("Good Life" was a huge hit on my chart), but I think this song really made me stoked for Native, which became one of my favorite albums of all-time. I've always loved the lyrics to this one, and this was the correct way to pop up your sound and still sound good and genuine. I was so sad that this flopped completely on radio. This sounded like a huge smash. It's a good thing the single after this did pretty well...

I expected to like this a LOT more, given the era. Kind of surprised me that this ended up in my bottom ten, to be honest, but here we are.
And I'm supposed to be the guy that props up Native.

Minority opinion, but I prefer the Alesso vs. OneRepublic remix of "If I Lose Myself" and it doesn't mean that the original isn't great though.
