Tbh Rihanna and Adele deserve to flop let's boycott them. Stream "All I Want for Christmas Is You", the gift that keeps on giving.

Dua Lipa's new one has 4M listens on Spotify. Wonder how many of those are from the US, compared to Kanye etc not probably that many but should do fairly well still.

New Dua Lipa song might debut around 60-50 and die from there in America. If there a God it will only chart for one week

Is there any album that could disrupt the Christmas season and cause an album bomb? and don't say Adele or Rihanna, I mean like actual confirmed album with a release date within the next 6 weeks. (Kind of missing the back-to-back album bombs now)

I feel that for all the weeks this year we had boring chart watch weeks, most of the heavy hitters will drop next year so it should be a way more exciting year than 2019 was.

Some rappers will probably release out of nowhere, like Earl Sweatshirt yesterday.
Frozen II will be released on Nov 15, that should do pretty well. Other than that, no confirmed release dates but obviously there will be plenty of albums to come.

We actually had quite a few albums bombs this year - about as many as last year: Championships, Skins, i am > i was, thank u next, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO?, IGOR, So Much Fun, Lover, Hollywood's Bleeding, KIRK, Over It, AI YOUNGBOY 2 and (this week) Jesus is King, all had a week where they had 8+ songs representing them on the charts. Say what you will about those artists, at least they didn't deliver anything as bad or as disruptive as last year's bombs; nothing was as awful as Scorpion. And in terms of songs, there wasn't anything from this year close to being as reprehensible as 'SAD!' or 'Freaky Friday' or anything from 6ix9ine

I still don't know what to feel about Trampoline: I don't know if it's yet another generic indie pop fluke or if it's actually a sneaker of a good song.

Drake, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole will all release studio albums next year so that's already 3 major album bombs confirmed. If Adele and Rihanna end up delaying the release of their albums till next year, they count as well. Ariana, Billie and Post Malone could also drop albums next year. I'm excited to see what happens.

I think the reason why this year was boring for album releases is that probably a lot of the artists are gearing up for 2020. Let's be honest, 2019 sounds like an uninteresting year but 2020 has some spice to it. Hopefully, there will be new and exciting sounds that'll define the 2020s.

I liked this year more than last year, but this is subjective and there is no right or wrong answer.

This year was just so extremely boring imo. Besides tu,n and Billie we didn’t have really any other notable albums till the summer. Jan/Feb was all Ariana but she slowed down quick. March-July was basically the Lil Nas X show. Then things started to pick up a bit in those summer months, but still 2019 just felt dull.
Thankfully tho, 2020 is looking to be insane

Dua Lipa debuts at #6 on Spotify! New 21 Savage #7.
Seems that Circles might be #1 after all as yesterday was pretty weak for LYTLM.

If I liked anything about 2019, it's that it set up a bunch of artists to be future stars. Quick examples are Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby, Summer Walker, Lizzo, Lewis Capaldi. Hell, I'll even throw Lil Nas X in there. I'm excited that there's a new class of artists who have a chance to establish their own legacies. That's one of the things I'm excited for in this new decade.

Pretty much. Is TikTok the reason this song is somehow at #9 on the Spotify charts??? Cause that's the only way I see this nothing of a song going this viral. And if so, why did we choose this song instead of 'STUPID' by Ashnikko? Someone with actual charisma and who would eat all this melodic rappers for lunch?

I just want Lil Nas X to release her album next year. Then we will have a real taste of who he really is musically. I particularly hope he succeeds, it will be amazing to see the reactions here on the pulse.

Lil Nas X did the same thing and I put him up there, too. Plus no one knows the future. He could become a legit star tomorrow.
