I would say Lifestyle is a masterpiece in the same way The Room is a masterpiece for Cinema. I used to think that, but now, I think it's a legitimately great song that serves as a great showcase of Young Thug's talents when it comes to his quirky and melodic rapping style that people have come to know and love from him. I love Lifestyle as well, but I always did. The song is so catchy, but I also can't suppress a laugh whenever I hear it because it's so stupid and ridiculous in a way. Also it was popular enough that it would be played a lot in clubs a lot, so I'm sure I made a fool of myself many times when (attempting to) sing along to it whilst drunk. There was a time where if you searched stuff like "Song that doesn't make any sense" or "dhakdbvfjskdb" or "Song that sounds like gibberish" into YouTube it woukd show up. Might still be screenshot of that out there somewhere. And on top of that the comments were always entertaining too. I have lots of good memories of the song.

Christmas is a Wednesday this year. Next year it will be a Friday so this might be its best chance for a while.

US Spotify for AIWFCIY
2017
12/24 (1,670,708) 12/25 (2,075,827) 12/26 (465,291)
2018 [compared to 2017]
12/24 (2,012,356) [+20.44%] 12/25 (2,388,010) [+15.03%] 12/26 (524,446) [+12.71%]
I think she can pull 600k on 12/26 this year, which is still good.
Also, iTunes positions on 12/26
2015 ~ X 2016 ~ #87 2017 ~ #84 2018 ~ #47

I can see AIWFCIY being #1 if there's no streaming monsters out (2.8-3M daily on Spotify) around at that time.

Based on its recent streaming trajectory (gaining each year), if AIWFCIY goes to #1 this year, it could potentially repeat for several years running.
Thus an unprecedented achievement is now theoretically possible.

We couldn't stop national tragedy #1 (Someone You Loved) on time, but there's still time to stop similar tragedy (Circles) from happening. We just need to change our tactic and pray to Lucifer for help instead of God!

I can see Billboard adding a new recurrent rule for Holiday songs in subsequent years. Right now I think even they want AIWFCIY to go #1, but down the line the Holiday clog on the charts on December will be too much.

I wonder what the chart history would have looked like for similar Christmas classics, had the same rules applied. "Do They Know It's Christmas" got a lump of coal in it's original charting.

As far as the charts go 2017 is easily the worst year, but there where great albums that came out that year Why was it the worst? There was like 3 weeks with zero women in the top ten

There was like 3 weeks with zero women in the top ten In terms of the quality of its Year End Hot 100, though, 2017 was definitely far better than either 2016 or 2018, which were both pretty horrible years.

2016 would of been good if one dance was number one 1 dance was at #1. But Hotline Bling shouldve been at #1!! I think he meant for the year. One Dance was number one for what, ten weeks or something? It would have taken more than that to make 2016 a good chart year as a whole though. 2016's YE list featured some truly wretched songs, though, such as "Wicked" by Future, "Cut It," by O.T. Genesis f/Young Dolph, "Back To Sleep" by Christ Brown, "Hide Away" and "Sit Still, Look Pretty," by Daya, "Lost Boy," by Ruth B, "Down In The DM," by Yo Gotti f/Nicki Minaj, "For Free" by DJ Khaled f/Drake, "2 Phones" by Kevin Gates, "Gold" by Kiara, "No," by Meghan Trainor, Pink's misguided "Just Like Fire," Shawn Mendes' "Stiches," and so on. Even the songs I liked from 2016 were pretty dreary and downbeat.

Maybe the 100-10 rule or something like that.

As long as America allows "Last Christmas" by Wham! to have some time in the top ten, then I won't really care if they add a recurrent rule or not. Keep resting peacefully Georgy. :..)

Did "Sunflower" survived the Kanhe bomb? Hopefully he did.

Did "Sunflower" survived the Kanhe bomb? Hopefully he did. I suspect not. He was already at 53 weeks, so if he got nudged out of the top 25, he's out.
And Ye alone had 4 songs debut in the top 25. So even he he stayed still, he'd drop to #26, and therefore out. None are Sunflower.

Keep in mind that Christmas this year is a Wednesday, which will definitely help it out in terms of the tracking week, since 6/7 days will be leading up to or on Christmas. That also means it doesn't get as much radio play, however.
Also, something to look forward to is that Christmas 2020 is a Friday, which might mean that it'll hang on for an extra week, causing possibly the biggest drop from #1 without dropping off completely (if it goes to #1 at all)

Sunflower could have survived if only Kanyes debuts are newly above it. But if any other song passed it, itโs out.
