I guess Iβm an outlier, but Iβm disappointed. I was fully prepared to love this, too. The bi/hetero line is straight up stupid, and the beat switch is weird and awful. Who thought that was a good decision??? I was excited to her Nicki over bouncy pop production again. The outro is much better.
The reason I love Nicki Minaj is the flavor she brings to rap music. Her theatricality and creativity was unrivaled for years. Just listen to her βBottoms Upβ verse, itβs fucking insane. Her recent stuff is so meh. The βYikesβ Minaj is not the trailblazer I love. Iβm in support of this getting her a possible number 1, but I wonβt be streaming, unfortunately.

Nicki Minaj is so wasted, she is from yester-year, I do not think that Doja Cat wins anything from this colab, but Nicki definitely will as her career is closing up. And for me cut the crappy rap from this song altogether(yes Doja Cat's rap as well from the original), but on the remix they make it Nicki Minaj featuring Doja Cat(why oh why). Now please make an adult contemporary version with added sample from Aaliyah's "At Your Best" with no cheap rap at all...  |

Didn't listen to any leaks so I'm guessing the version I heard is the official one since it has the silicone line which apparently didn't exist in the leak?!? Anyways, Nicki did her thing once again. Loved her singing parts and the outro somehow works despite the unfitting lyrics. The beat change is questionable but doesn't ruin the song for me. Would be great if it becomes the first #1 for both of them. Even greater would be to witness the online bloodbath in case it does go #1 but Nicki isn't credited.

I like Nickiβs verse. I just wish the beat change from the first chorus to Nickiβs verse wasnβt so jarring. I wouldβve liked it more if they kept elements of the original production in the beginning of Nickiβs verse. Overall, itβs a good remix.

They probably prepared this remix for this song to get Urban spins. For that, the beat change is necessary.
I still prefer the original but the remix may grow on me.
