Which album do you like better? Hmmmm...kinda hard for me to decide here. I know for sure that either albums definitely don't top TEOM for me. That record was just incredible in so many ways. That will always be an album post-Butterfly that is top notched for me. The only tracks on Me. I Am Mariah that I really did not care for were #Beautiful, Thirsty, and One More Try. The rest were pretty good and decent. Too bad it was released during the year that was such a s**tty time for me. I don't have any fond memories of 2014, because that was when the only grandma I ever had in my life had passed away, so it was a very trying time for me and my family.
I like how Caution is completely devoid of bad covers this time, but I really really didn't care for the tracks with Gunna and Ty Dolla Sign. And GTFO was just too horrendous to listen to. On a ligher note, Caution did give us "Portrait" which is the best song she has recorded in a decade. "8th grade" was a great song too.
I think I may have to lean with Me. I Am Mariah a bit more, simply because of "You Don't Know What To Do", "Make It Look Good", "Meteorite", and the album itself has a bit more favorable rappers, imo.
I didn't make this video, btw.

Definitely The Elusive Chanteuse. Caution has the better album cover though, hands down.

Chanteuse all the way, it was everything I wanted and needed in a Mariah album. It will forever be a favorite of mine.
Caution is a worthy continuation, though. Awesome album.

MIAM as itβs in my top 3 for Mariah, though admittedly I stop after βCamouflageβ (sometimes listen to βMoneyβ). Itβs diverse and terrific.
Caution is very solid, too, and in my top 5 or so for Mariah.

I prefer Caution but it's a hard pick. MIAM is really good too

Caution- it was pretty much everything I wanted in a Mariah album, bar the lead single choice. MIAM had higher highs but lower lows and had a few too many tracks.

Caution is far more enjoyable to listen to I have tracks I like on MIAM, but not without having to listen to tracks I donβt care to listen. I can also listen to Caution all the way through.

Love both, but Caution can be listened to whenever, MIAM is more of a mood for me.

Faded is better than ANYTHING on Caution. So, that album.
But there's more... Meteorite, Make it Look Good, Dedicated, Heavenly.
