Apparently, Actor/musician Drake Bell re-enters the Social 50 this week. It is his first appearance on the chart since July 2017.

I don't think a lot of people hate Drake, I just think they are tired of hearing about him. It's a "How can we miss you if you never leave?" sort of thing. Those people obviously only learned of Drake post-Hotline Bling. Longtime Drake fans know he never leaves. That's been his thing since bursting onto the music scene in 2009.

I like to think people searched for the other Drake but found this one instead and liked what they heard so kept listening. It was likely Twitter and Instagram, considering how many likes these posts received. He tweeted he's only making posts in Spanish from now on, and his Mexican fans went insane. He deleted the tweet, but an American fan asked to not forget his English-speaking fans, and he told them to learn Spanish.

Shocked that OMB fell out of the top 20.

This is, admittedly, a rather old-school approach to music, although not the norm of most pop artists nowadays, with the break of 2 or 3 years (or more) with only the occasional duet in between to keep someone's name alive and build up hype for the next "era."

Yeah, Drake has never believed in the rules of the album era, lol. He always has (at least) a song on the radio/charts whether it's a lead single or a feature. 2019 was an off year for him, but most people don't realize that.

I hate Drake not because he never goes away but because most of his music is dull and lifeless. For every Nice For Whar thereโs 5 Money in the Graves.

He only had a compilation album and a single and some features. This is certainly a slow year by Drake standards, though given his output it is likely that there will be at least a mixtape or playlist if not a full album in 2020. Maybe he can wax poetical about fatherhood or something like that.

"I cannot tell you how much regret I feel after jinxing this song," a forum user who goes by the name of ItsYaBoiGV lamented. "Now that this horrendously boring overplayed piece of work is staying at the top of the charts forever, I think that the music industry is legitimately dead." 1. I appreciate "Someone You Loved". I don't find it overplayed or boring. 2. Thankfully, I didn't jinx "Circles" momentum, as it indeed got the #1 for this week! Still a funny post though and quite surprising for my name to be mentioned.

No one cares if you โhate/dislikeโ Drake.
Some artists just stay around and release single after single/album after album because they can ex. Drake/Rihanna/1001 other Rappers etc.
STFU!

Post finally dethroned one of my least favorite #1s of the decade. I hope The Weeknd comes back as good as he was in 2015/16 and goes #1 for the rest of the year.

His hype for chapter 6 has been around for so long dating back since late 2018 so i believe the song heโs releasing, โblinding lightsโ might hit #1

What is his beef with Drake? Probably got sick of the extremely overplay like a lot of people. Don't think he hatesย Drake though, Nice For What was in his top 10 best list and God's Plan was relatively high tooย He had Drake at #3 on his worst list, though, and by "Drake" I mean every other Top 10 hit Drake had in 2018 at #3, including the album bomb songs that didn't make the Year-End list.

Taylor Swift's "Beautiful Ghosts" debuts at #14 on Digital Song Sales. It seems to have failed to chart on the Hot 100 or Bubbling Under.

Lauv and LANY's "Mean It" debuting in the Bubbling Under is okay, it should at least climb its way to the Hot 100.

Thanks for the Hot 100 layout, and all other layouts, bill b. :)
So, it looks like "Old Town Road" was the last No. 1 that was closest to total dominance in all three metrics (No. 1 streaming, sales and No. 2 airplay).
