What a phenomenal album! Easily one of their best and one of my favorites! I hope this album era slays them all!
I love this sound; it's almost as if it's their brand. I hope they find ways to keep this sound as often as possible.
Personal Standouts: What If I Never Get Over You, What I'm Leaving For, Be Patient with My Love, On a Night Like This, Mansion, Ocean

Easily their best album since Golden, I love the more organic sound Ocean has. Here's my mini-review: 1. What If I Never Get Over You: 9/10 Great throwback to their earlier sound, plus the climax is amazing! 2. Pictures: 8/103. Crazy Love: 8.5/10 The fiddle is heavenly 4. You Can Do You: 7.5/10 A little too "we're all people" for my tastes, but still catchy 5. What I'm Leaving For: 8.5/106. Be Patient With My Love: 9.5/10 Very sensitive and open lyrics 7. Alright: 7.5/10 Sounds like a leftover from Heart Break, which makes sense because busbee (RIP) is one of the writers 8. Let It Be Love: 8/10 9. On a Night Like This: 8.5/10 Production is melodramatic and I like that, lol 10. Boots: 7/10 The production sounds a bit confused on this one 11. The Thing That Wrecks You: 10/10 Amazing harmonies, amazing chorus, amazing everything! 12. Mansion: 7.5/10 A bit too snap-track-y for the sound of this album, but otherwise fine 13. Ocean: 9.5/10 Hillary's moment on this record Total: 8.4/10

I love this album a lot. I’ve listened to quite a few albums this past year, but this is my favorite so far.
Standouts/Favorites: - What If I Never Get Over You: I remember first listening to this and thinking “This is the Lady A I know and love.” It’s their best lead single since probably Just A Kiss because as much as I enjoy Bartender, I don’t think it’s as amazing. But Charles and Hillary just harmonize so nicely.
- You Can Do You: This feels like a little bit a throwback to their self-titled and I’m here for all of it. The instrumental here is really good and the song is catchy as hell.
- Be Patient With My Love: Very heartfelt song with great lyrics. It kind of reminded me of Goodbye Town the way Charles carries the song and he sounds really good.
- Let It Be Love: This one sounds so nice and it further proves that Hillary and Charles harmonize really nicely. I love this song’s chorus.
- The Thing That Wrecks You: Omg this is legit amazing. Great instrumental and I love that Little Big Town was a part of this. Everyone’s voices coming together in the second chorus is just divine. This is my favorite of the non-prereleased tracks.
- Ocean: Probably Hillary’s most powerful vocal. I love piano ballads and this one is just beautiful from start to end. It’s her shining moment on this album and she sounds amazing. Love this!
I don’t think there was a single song here that I really disliked. Some tracks kind of just feel “there”, but that’s kind of it. I enjoyed this album from start to end and I’m so happy for these three! Could possibly be my AOTY come the end of 2019. 👀

I am so happy with the album that I cant even put in words what I´ve been thinking since the first time that I listened to. This is Lady A that I have felt in love and I was expecting an album like that since "Golden" so I am glad they got back to their roots and made such an honest and vulnerable album.

Definitely one of my favorite country albums of 2019 for sure. "What If I Never Get Over You" and "Ocean" are definitely my highlights

"What I'm Leaving For" is maybe one of the best songs of the year. Rest of the album is nice too Pictures and What if I Never Get Over You still solid

Gave this a spin tonight and after one listen, I'm already ready to say this is their best album since Golden. Noticeably big improvement over the last two imo. This is a really solid record. It's early but "You Can Do You," "Alright," "Boots," and the LBT collab stood out as some of my initial favorites.
