Anyway...I have my 1, 3, 6, 7, and 10 left, and I would be fine with anything but the latter winning.
I just can't believe "Best Part Of Me" got eliminated this early. Sure, it's a very traditional Ed Sheeran ballad, but the lyrics are such a heartfelt insight into insecurities in a relationship, and YEBBA was an incredible choice for collaboration. "Take Me Back To London" deserved better as well. Ed fits grime like a glove, and he has a very natural rapport with Stormzy. Love the lyrics as well, especially Stormzy's verses.
Since I haven't posted this whole rankdown (despite being my very first one), I would just like to say I am really enjoying it so far, even if I haven't achieved any perfect rankings yet (but man, I was so close several times!). In my opinion, none of the songs off this album are terrible or bad; at worst they are a bit bland and the collaborations feel uninspired or an attempt to cash in at modern trends (looking at you, #10), but at best we have some incredible experimental sounds that show just how versatile Ed is as an artist. Also, there's a nice theme of dealing with the aftermath of the immensely successful "Divide" era as well as the insecurities and fears that come with marriage, even if some of the flex tracks break this cohesiveness.
In case anyone's interested, here are my personal tiers for the album tracks.
* 1-6: Truly great songs where it genuinely feels like proper collaborations bringing out the best aspects from both parties. With strong lyrics that enhance the key themes of the album, but also interesting enough to be enjoyed in their own right. I can definitely imagine myself going back to these tracks over and over again.
* 7-9: They have some flaws that hinder my full enjoyment, but I can appreciate them for trying out new things (and for "I Don't Care", just for being a genuinely catchy and feel-good song, despite not working at all as a duet and being very generic - it's my guilty pleasure from the album)
* 10-12: They are admittedly catchy and should work on paper, but the lyric themes from #10 and "Remember The Name" come off as clumsy and awkward. "Way To Break My Heart" has grown a bit on me, but it doesn't quite hit the spot for me just yet.
* 13-15: I just feel meh on them. Not bad, but not good either, despite having some solid individual moments (notably their respective hooks). Who thought pairing Ed Sheeran and Young Thug would be a good idea?

I think you might want to fix this before moving to the top 5 of the rankdown "I Don't Want Your Money" was my #4, while "Put It All On Me" was my #13 Wait, hold up. I didn't notice that one. Gonna fix that later though, as I am currently on the phone.

To: @aprettyoddmusicbox, I fixed the duplicate tag of yours in "I Don't Want Your Money". But anyways, we are in the final 5 of this Rankdown! We'll start this one right away by revealing #5... This song is one of the three remaining Ed Sheeran songs that has 2 artists featured in it. It has a rank for every number in the Top 10, with one being its #1, while one participant has to jinx it's momentum by ranking it at #15. At least it made top 5. I was gutted that my other faves on the album made early exits (the songs w/ HER and Ella, namely).
As long as the awful "Blow" doesn't win, I'll be content.

So this is either "Cross Me" or "Blow" hmm... I'd hate losing either but "Blow" might be more divisive so my guess is that one.

I think people like "Cross Me" more so it's probably "Blow".

"Blow" is unexpectedly good. I thought a collaboration between Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, and Bruno Mars would be a big mess since I couldn't see the overlap between the three (maybe a slower song?) but this goes HARD. Didn't see a rock track coming, but I think they executed this well.

Chris Stapleton made my ears bleed on this one. Not a fan of really anything about it tbh.

Gonna guess that the Khalid feature goes out next because I imagine the top 2 being more likely to be "Antisocial" vs "Cross Me."

Shocked Beautiful People is ahead Antisocial.
Could Cross Me actually win this? Would be great to see as radio paid it dust in favor of the much more bland IDC.

If "Beautiful People" wins, then that will mean I missed out on the opportunity for a third consecutive #1 on a GV-hosted rankdown. :(

@aprettyoddmusicbox - 1 @trilogy - 6 Au$tin - 10 CF15 sadly, doesn't get a hat trick for winning all three of my Rankdowns :( {Lead per entry} 1 entry - Antisocial 2 entries - Cross Me 3 entries - Cross Me 4 entries - Cross Me 5 entries - Antisocial 6 entries - Antisocial 7 entries - Cross Me 8 entries - Cross Me 9 entries - Antisocial 10 entries - Antisocial 11 entries - Antisocial 12 entries - Cross Me 13 entries - Cross Me 14 entries - Cross Me 15 entries - Beautiful People 16 entries - Beautiful People 17 entries - Beautiful People From the get-go, it's already a battle between "Cross Me" and "Antisocial", but with Adrian C. 🍓's list, he became the total game changer of this Rankdown. His list tanking BOTH "Cross Me" and "Antisocial" allowed "Beautiful People" to lead until the final entry from .indulgecountry. {Fun Fact} The moment "South Of The Border" was eliminated, the Top 4 was in the same order as if you check the remaining songs by track listing:
#1 - Beautiful People (#1) #2 - Cross Me (#2) #3 - Antisocial (#7) #4 - Blow (#15)
