Not much happens in the video, but it's incredibly beautiful! Miranda looks gorgeous, the dress is amazing and the whole thing is just beautiful. Yes, some alternate dress would have been a great addition, like indulge said, but I am happy with the way it is though!

I was wondering is the set of Miranda Lambert where she is in the "Bluebird" cage is that the same place where Carrie Underwood performs "Drinking Alone" in her music video? They look pretty similar I was wondering is the set of Miranda Lambert where she is in the "Bluebird" cage is that the same place where Carrie Underwood performs "Drinking Alone" in her music video? They look pretty similar You know what, I noticed that too and I think they are the same Both videos were shot in New York City, so I think there's a good chance that it is indeed the same location as the video for "Drinking Alone." Given that Miranda's beau is from NYC and she's been spending a lot of time there, it probably made for an easy filming location for Miranda, and I can imagine since Carrie Underwood is a close personal friend, she likely got the idea from her.

She looks stunning in the video but it is a little boring. I’d have loved to have the camera be wider to fully showcase the dress and maybe have the actors actually do something rather than just watch her.
Still for a low budget they got a really pretty video!
(I’d have almost wanted her to transform into a bluebird at the end, I miss campy ideas like that haha see:K.T. Oslin’s “Come Next Monday”)

This is a great looking video. While it's not overly exciting in terms of storyline, this is a pretty great visual representation of the song.

I don't like the video. It's too shiny for me. An other song would've been better.

Fanjoy isn’t a particularly good or creative director. The video is about what you would expect.

Ummm Ummm, Trey Fanjoy is responsible for the majority of Miranda Lambert's videos, and I'd say that her videography is one of the strongest in the genre, so I'm gonna have to co-sign in disagreement with Kanenrá:ke on this one. "Kerosene," "Famous in a Small Town, "The House That Built Me," "Only Prettier," "Over You," "Fastest Girl in Town," "Mama's Broken Heart," "Somethin' Bad," "Vice," "It All Comes Out in the Wash".... yeah, I'm not seeing any weak videos in that lineup.

Ummm Curious what videos do you not like from her haha I just looked at her filmography and can’t find many stinkers. Craig Morgan’s latest is probably the worst of the ones I’ve seen.

Her videos always LOOK cheap and her treatment/ ideas are always the most obvious, common denominator ideas.
ETA: you really think the Wash video was good?! Let’s get muddy it goes along with getting clean, har har har. 🙄

Let’s get muddy it goes along with getting clean, har har har. 🙄 What kind of concept would you have proposed for that song that would've been insurmountably better in your eyes? I think that video treatment made perfect sense for the song lyrically, and it was well-shot and didn't look even remotely cheap or stale to me. I think the "Wash" video is excellent. Meanwhile we've got countless male artists constantly releasing music videos these days where all they do is look average in any of the handful of generic country music settings (bar stool, tailgate, etc.) or just opt for a cheap live footage video (see: Jason Aldean's videography). I dunno who all is behind the camera for those, but I'd say Trey Fanjoy is definitely well above-average in the directing department.

Let’s get muddy it goes along with getting clean, har har har. 🙄 “Wash” is very much an obvious take on the song (though I hadn’t pictured a car wash when I first heard the song). However while an obvious take on the subject, I think this one had to be somewhat obvious. Like I’d have been disappointed if it didn’t go somewhere in this direction. There’s actually it all that much creativity in country videos as a whole, a lot of them stick to the song pretty well. This is why I singled out “Come Next Monday” up above, I like less obvious ideas too but they’re few and far between. I’d bet most of the big name directors in country are similar.

Miranda gave radio a two-minute interview about “Bluebird.” She says Luke Dick had the idea for the song and Miranda loved it. “It’s dark but still hopeful.” It seems to me this song (which is really about hope and optimism), picked a good time to be at radio, considering the current morale of the country and the world right now.

This already has slightly more streams on Spotify than the lead single ("Bluebird" with 17 mil vs "Wash" with 16.8 mil), and it's almost top 20 on the HCS chart already while at #25 in airplay. What a smash.

Damn does she look good in the video! Sure, it could've been fleshed out a bit more but I think the overall concept fits the song perfectly. Hope the momentum keeps going because this deserves to be a #1 smash.

What a smash. It's worth noting that this has also been on the Hot Country playlist every week since it came out (or since the album dropped, I can't remember which). That certainly helps the stream count. Nonetheless, it is clearly reacting better than "Wash" did.

I am so, so happy this is shaping up to be her return to the Top 10. What a great song and radio taking notice of how it’s connecting is great to see.

I looked at the credits of Wildcard and I found out that It All Comes Out, Mess With My Head, Way Too Pretty, Fire Escape and Track Record were from 2018. I don't know if it's a writing error or if these were actually recorded in 2018. Her other albums don't have that except Kerosene where every song is from 2004. Or were they meant to be released in 2018 and Miranda pushed the album back and kept these songs.

Could be songs she had planned to contribute to Pistol Annie's but ended up keeping for herself maybe?

Officially Top 20 on country radio on Mediabase moving up 3 spots to #20 becoming Miranda Lambert's first single to hit the Top 20 that WASN'T a lead single since "Little Red Wagon" did so back in 2015.
This song continues to do well in terms of gains too as this gained 142 spins and 1080k in audience this past week. Definitely think this is a probable lock for Top 10 and with enough luck and good timing I hope this can make a run at #1

This song has always given me early 2000s vibes. I really am happy to see it doing well and I think the state of the world has helped it in a way. We all need to remain optimistic!

Heard this on SiriusXM's HAC station (The Pulse) yesterday. Was very pleasantly surprised to hear it! Is this getting crossover airplay on HAC at all (I know it's not charting yet) or is SiriusXM just playing whatever they feel like (I know that happens often lol)?

AllAccess only lists SiriusXM's HAC station as the only station for leaders or starters (I believe you need at least 2 spins to show up on either) so crossover airplay outside of SiriusXM looks to be minimal (or even none).

Really strong week on Mediabase as "Bluebird" gains 497 spins and besides Brett Young's new single and Luke Bryan's red hot "One Margarita", Miranda has the highest bullet of any of the songs below the Top 10.
Hoping this can get to #1, as this song has really taken off since hitting the Top 30, but even before then this song has been pretty strong for most of it's chart run.
