Holy cow, did not expect to see a Caylee Hammack album being released, beyond excited especially since she has a song with Reba and another song with Ashley McBryde and Tenille Townes
Now if only the label could send anything of hers to country radio (*cough "Small Town Hypoctite" getting a re-release to radio *cough*)

Ooh that track list looks great for Caylee. Very glad they’re going ahead with a release but I hope that doesn’t mean they’re giving up on radio. “Family Tree” did alright and I was hoping they’d push something soon.

I saw a comment on YouTube while listening to the video for "Small Town Hypocrite" that described Caylee as the result "if Reba and Dolly had a child" so seeing this Reba feature on the tracklist has me more than perched. I didn't like "Family Tree" all that much but LOVED "Small Town Hypocrite" so I'm ready for this album!! With this one and Lindsay's Heart Theory, August 14 looks to be a good day for women's releases!

Omggg!! I was NOT expecting an album announcement for Caylee Hammack! Wow! I am fucking stoked! She's quickly become one of my favorite new females in the game since I first heard "Small Town Hypocrite" and I was pretty gutted that they played with my emotions by announcing it as a single after I'd spent several months playing it on repeat an loving it to pieces, only for them to quietly pull it for some reason. Granted, it sounded like a huge gamble for radio with her lack of momentum and it not being a radio friendly song... but still, man, sometimes quality songs like that just need the chance to be heard so I was excited anyway for the slim chance it could cut through and be a marathon chart climb to hit status, comparable to something like Jana Kramer's "I Got the Boy" a few years back. With the album coming out soon, I really hope that means they'll either give it a new adds date or that they'll put another fresh single out. I wonder if there's any hope that "Redhead" might go to radio? I've heard a live performance of it and it sounds like it would be a stronger option than either "Just Friends" or "Preciatcha" at the very least, plus, it has Reba on it so how cool would that be to see her potentially get yet another hit right after "Be a Light"? Reba being featured on her single may not make radio exactly clamor for it, but it would definitely have some built-in hype no doubt. Either way, I am very excited for this record! And also yay @ Lindsay Ell getting a new album out too (and literally the same day, lol)! I'm hoping that this becomes a new trend now that singles take forever to peak + the rise streaming makes it advantageous to perhaps release albums earlier so that they can be out there for fans to discover and listen to regardless of radio success. We saw with Morgan Wallen's debut that it didn't deliver much upon impact, but after "Whiskey Glasses" hit big, the record itself also greatly benefited. Banking everything on waiting until you have a radio smash on your hands just isn't the way to go anymore imo.

I’m excited also. I love Caylee’s music. So far “Small Town Hypocrite” Is my favorite, now all I need is Danielle Bradbery to announce her new album. That would make me really excited, 👍👍🎵🎵

The Dixie chicks have released the third track from their album Gaslighter. It’s called ‘March March’. This sounds solid

An album is 10-12+ for me, not this 8 tracks mess.
I will say I'm interested to hear "Counting on the Weather" as the title intrigues me

Just listened to the two new songs. They're both great, but "Let Me Go" is AMAZING!!!!!!! I could see that being a huge hit if she was still trying for that!

I was surprised to see Let Me Go being released now because she has been performing that song around 5 years ago, but was removed on her set list since. I remember liking that then.I'm excited to listen to other songs from this project. I'm looking forward to Raelynn's as well.

New Jimmie Allen EP, Bettie James, will be released on July 10th according to AllAccess. Jimmie Allen gets by with a little help from his friends on his latest project, Bettie James, which features collaborations with Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Charley Pride, Darius Rucker, Mickey Guyton, Nelly, Noah Cyrus, The Oak Ridge Boys, Rita Wilson, and Tauren Wells. The Stoney Creek album is set for release July 10, and includes Allen’s current single “This Is Us” featuring Noah Cyrus, which has already garnered more than 25 million streams. The project is inspired by and named after his late father, James Allen, and grandmother, Bettie Snead, who passed away in September 2019 and February 2014, respectively. “My dad and grandmom were two completely different people, but both played a huge part in my life. Since they died, I have been wanting to leave trails of their legacies throughout my music,” Allen said of his motivation for the project, which he co-produced alongside Ash Bowers. “I am a fan of every artist on this project and humbled to have each one of them be a part of it,” continued Allen. “Each artist has touched the life of my dad, my grandmother and me through their music. I’m proud of this body of music and thankful to every writer that helped me create musicrow.com/2020/07/jimmie-allen-welcomes-brad-paisley-tim-mcgraw-darius-rucker-charley-pride-for-collaborative-ep/

I’m going to suggest this physical album will still have Dixie Chicks printed on it as it was published before the name change.
