What songs do we think can repeat onto the 2021 year end list? It's hard because the points are so weak that high positions don't make a song safe. Even WAP despite being at #2 is only like 5000 points away from out of the top 10 and isn't a lock. My personal predictions are in bold. There's only two songs I think are truly guaranteed -Mood -Laugh Now Cry LaterSome pretty safe bets -WAP -Savage Love -RockstarFour songs that are gonna have the 52/25 rule to deal with -Blinding Lights
-I Hope
-Before You Go -What's Poppin
Some lower songs that I think are iffy -Dynamite
-Watermelon Sugar -For The Night -Go Crazy -Be Like That -Come & Go -ily
And one song that doesn't fit categorization -All I Want For Christmas Is You
lastly there's the sad tale of Circles and I just don't see it. It first has to survive Ariana which I think it can. Then it's gonna be killed by Christmas but I think it can at least stick it out for like 5 weeks before the Christmas songs blitz the top 20 and Billboard will let it return in January. But then Drake will happen in late January and if it's even still on by that point there is no way that it will survive that or have gotten enough points. (This Drake album is also why I think I Hope will miss)

For The Night might have a decent chance, since it JUST got picked up on radio, so it might stick around for an extra 15+ weeks

I remember last Christmas season, when the Christmas songs fell off, a bunch of hits that had been knocked off by them had been brought out of recurrency and re-entered (Only Human, I Don't Care, Sucker, Talk, Beautiful People, Suge, & Baby).
Can we expect that to happen again this year? And if so, could Circles re-enter and have a shot at a year-end three-peat?

Because even if they did come back, they still lost weeks that wouldโve made a massive difference. And Circles has a higher standard than all of those songs, because itโs subject to the 25/52 rule

Speaking of Year End credits:
- Say So will be credited under its solo version, right? - I Hope will be credited under Charlie Puthโs version?

The former, yes. The latter, no. Why Charlie wonโt receive credit on I Hope? Although the remix out peaked the original, the original has charting much longer than the remix. The remix started charting the second time it entered the top 10 which would be 4 or 5 weeks whereas the original has been charting for almost 40 weeks, it has no hope of making the year-end even if it hits number 1.

Ariana Grande is right around the corner.

I actually thinks that WAP would have a run rather similar to in my feelings (20-25 weeks on the chart, collapse rather quickly after leaving top 5) judging by its declining rate on spotify, which means it would probably miss the 2021 list. P.S: WAP's run at the top should be just as strong as IMF if not for the removal of UGC...

Cool chart nerd stat if Lovin' On You can make it then Luke Combs would by far break the record for lowest placement of 3 songs on the year end list (meaning only 3, not just taking the 3 lowest from someone with more). There's even a chance that all three are in the 90's which i don't think has ever happened before. It would probably set an unbeatable record
The current holder of this not-exactly-coveted record is Dev who had 3 songs in 2011 at #72, #84 and #85.

Hot shot predictions for 2021: 7 Summers is going to end up in the year end Top 10 thanks to longevity on streaming, and once the radio push starts, it'll hold the top spot on country charts for months.

Hot shot predictions for 2021: 7 Summers is going to end up in the year end Top 10 thanks to longevity on streaming, and once the radio push starts, it'll hold the top spot on country charts for months. That would be great

Just a prediction of what I think will make the year-end list in 2021 positions by Ariana Grande Forever After All by Luke Combs Heather by Conan Gray Mood by 24kGoldn feat. Iann Dior For the Night by Pop Smoke feat. Lil Baby and DaBaby Laugh Now Cry Later by Drake feat. Lil Durk Holy by Justin Bieber feat. Chance the Rapper Tyler Herro by Jack Harlow Lonely by Justin Bieber feat. Benny Blanco Put Your Records On by Ritt Momney 7 Summers by Morgan Wallen you broke me first by Tate McRae Golden by Harry Styles Levitating by Dua Lipa feat. DaBaby What You Know About Love by Pop Smoke 34+35 by Ariana Grande Bang by AJR Kings & Queens by Ava Max ily by Surf Mesa feat. Emilee WAP by Cardi B feat. Megan thee Stallion Midnight Sky by Miley Cyrus Lemonade by Internet Money & Gunna feat. Don Toliver & NAV I don't see Midnight Sky being able to make next year's year end because it's already starting to tank on the radio. Maybe the album can give it a new lease on life.

Adore You vs Life Is Good is gonna come down to the wire. Hoping Adore You can pull off the advantage not only because it's better but also because it'd be a #6 peak finishing at 6
