It looks like ily, Lovin On You, and More Than My Hometown will all enter next week unless Ariana does massive damage to their points. This would make Tisa the cutoff and I really can’t see Said Sum passing it, it’ll probably get caught.
Sadly Break My Heart looks like it’ll be denied the chance to pass two songs because of Ariana but it still had a great run.

So technically dua lipa had a better album era than the weeknd, even though blinding lights was the biggest hit of the year. I would’ve preferred if in your eyes, smile, over now and even heartless and save your tears had a better rollout than just have one hit dominate the entire era. I guess dua did have don’t start now for a while, but break my heart and levitating are still decent sized hits (the latter could become the biggest single in the era who knows). All i’m saying is that Abel deserved to have more than just 2 songs make the year end as this was his year without a doubt

Which, since she’s from the UK, I’m guessing that’s the most important thing to her and her label. Also, Heartless was still a big hit. It debuted at #1 shortly before debuting at #1 became completely meaningless.

Also, once Circles is done charting, I’ll post the real points decade-end list for the 2010s, with every song’s total chart run counted. Eligibility will be based on debuting on a year end list in the 2010s (so Circles would count for the 2010s, not 2020s)

Does anyone know of Thriller is expected to re-enter the Hot 100 this year?

Does anyone know of Thriller is expected to re-enter the Hot 100 this year? It probably won't since it had only two days' worth of tracking this week for streaming and digital song sales.

I’m doing the official year ends, not the J-D ones. Specifically because even though TiK ToK and Need You Now came out in 2009, they were definitely more defining hits in 2010.

This week, Said Sum might rise to the top 20, More Than My Hometown might rise to the top 25, and Lovin' On You might return to the top 40. Assuming all of this is true, I think I have an official projected cutoff for my 2020 year end predictions. Since all 3 are likely to surpass Walk Em Down, that leaves it as the #100 song. The fact that we're giving Said Sum a year end spot while Cardigan, More Hearts Than Mine, In Your Eyes and Be Kind will all miss... The real tragedy is that SUGAR didn't become a hit this year. Imagine how much better this chart year would've been if we gave BROCKHAMPTON a Top 40 hit

Week 51 - 07/11/2020Well, we're here, near the end of the year. Either one or two more weeks to go. However, I have good news - one of the predictors in the Talk Of The Charts server has made contact with someone at Billboard to actually ask for the end date... and they have responded. Right now, they're not sure if they can disclose it yet, but once the decision is finalized, they will contact him again. When they do, if he doesn't decide to post it here himself, I'll relay the message. For now, though, I will show both possible scenarios. Current Status (100 biggest songs so far, 173.000 points to be considered locked):Added this week:surf mesa ft. Emilee - ily Drop-Outs this week:Russ & BIA - BEST ON EARTH Songs Locked this week:Rod Wave ft. ATR Son Son - Rags 2 Riches Kane Brown with Swae Lee & Khalid - Be Like That Juice WRLD - Wishing Well Songs Crossing the Cut-off this week:surf mesa ft. Emilee - ily Luke Combs - Lovin' On You Morgan Wallen - More Than My Hometown Moneybagg Yo - Said Sum Currently lowest Locked song:Luke Combs ft. Eric Church - Does To Me Songs predicted to lock within 5 weeks:1 week:surf mesa ft. Emilee - ily Luke Combs - Lovin' On You Morgan Wallen - More Than My Hometown Moneybagg Yo - Said Sum 2 weeks:Internet Money & Gunna ft. Don Toliver & NAV - Lemonade Crossing cutoff in 2 weeks:1 week:Saweetie - Tap In 2 weeks:Taylor Swift - cardigan HARDY ft. Lauren Alaina & Devin Dawson - One Beer AJR - Bang! Predicted Positions for Locked Drop-Outs:See image for all drop-outs #116: Megan Thee Stallion - Girls In The Hood Forecast (Songs must have 158.000 points when adding multiple weeks of the points gained last week to their total):I'm going to be doing something a bit different here. To hopefully avoid overloading the thread with images, I'll spoiler each of my images and explain what they are above. {Scenario #1: Ends on 14/11/2020} {Scenario #2: Ends on 21/11/2020} {Both Scenarios side by side}

I guess dua did have don’t start now for a while, but break my heart and levitating are still decent sized hits (the latter could become the biggest single in the era who knows). All i’m saying is that Abel deserved to have more than just 2 songs make the year end as this was his year without a doubt Physical was also a big hit in the green parts of Not America (congrats to everyone who gets that reference). Which, since she’s from the UK, I’m guessing that’s the most important thing to her and her label. Also, Heartless was still a big hit. It debuted at #1 shortly before debuting at #1 became completely meaningless. Crash Course World History?

Also, expect WAP to drop out of the top 10 once the streaming falls off. Radio is starting to drop it and the sales have collapsed.
