Early prediction: Dakiti will end the year in the top 10 next year. Definitely a bold prediction, but I feel like it would fit extremely well on the radio, in the same way a Khalid song would (except Talk). The only barrier is that itβs in Spanish and by an act that doesnβt do particularly well on radio, with all of his singles from his last album flopping there. Although who knows, maybe it becomes a streaming monster.

Honestly seeing just how much Abel is doing to become a pop culture juggernaut I am kind of expecting him to appear on Drake's next album. And if that happens, I can easily see that becoming the YE #1 song for 2021, and then Abel could be up to releasing his own next album around the beginning of 2022. I know its way too early to make this prediction, but I could somewhat see him pulling off 3 #1 YE hits in a row. I'd love to see this happen!

However, I have good news - one of the predictors in the Talk Of The Charts server has made contact with someone at Billboard to actually ask for the end date... and they have responded. Right now, they're not sure if they can disclose it yet, but once the decision is finalized, they will contact him again. When they do, if he doesn't decide to post it here himself, I'll relay the message. I've heard back from the predictor, however, Billboard has requested we keep the information limited to a group of trusted server members until the year-end list is revealed. Therefore, I will continue covering both scenarios. If you do know or find out, please do not distribute the information anywhere. I'm sorry for people who really wanted to know, but I will respect their wish to keep this private.

Considering the prediction i made that a weeknd song would be #1 YE this year, this doesnβt actually seem so far from reality and also if heβs on drakes album, itβs gonna be super huge. First off, because of the ovoxo comeback that so many core fans of both sides wanted for so long and the fact that these 2 are at the top of their game right now. If crew love or live for was released today, it wouldβve been a massive hit

They all deserve(d) to be on the year end as much as the after hours singles and promos as well

Another early predictions: Kings & Queens and Bang! will make the 2021 year-end, WAP and Dynamite will NOT make the 2021 year end, one of the Drake singles will top the year end, Blinding Lights and I Hope will repeat and Pop Smoke will have at least 3 songs on the year end chart in 2021.

I could see For the Night repeating since it's now gaining radio and it's still a monster on streaming but I think we're done now with the post-humous Pop Smoke hits. It's amazing he got 5 but let's hope they're not gonna milk him the same way they did X, even for features. And the hype has now died down with the release of his project, don't think fans are yearning for another. Not to mention: trap artists who are ALIVE are lucky if they're able to get more than one year-end spot, let alone three after their peak year!

I'm getting nervous about Blinding Lights... Ahh how the world was so different.. Wow that's really something to look back on, worrying that the eventual biggest song of the year would flop. Although given how In Your Eyes didn't do so well, there was a chance it wasn't a sure thing?

If its a 53 week year this year then the actual top 100 songs are gonna be fairly cut clean at least by tanooki/Sailor Mars's method it'll be #1-95 along with Lovin On You, ily, More Than My Hometown, Said Sum & Lemonade with probably Bluebird at 100 and Walk 'Em Down at 101 but with a considerable point difference between them.
The fact that most of those songs are kinda bad is beside the point because theres a very high likelihood that the predicted top 100 is the actual top 100. Whereas with 52 weeks it's a total mess with 12 songs between 10000 points of each other and there's a chance something like Kinfolks could sneak into the bottom by like 1 point

This might be the one of the biggest weeks for dropouts this year. Along with Circles we have Donβt Start Now, The Bigger Picture, cardigan and Dreams all drop out.
