^At least it isn't Girls Like You. It’s better than girls like you because it at least has a chance of not getting to the GOAT list C'mon now. At least Lewis Capaldi is clearly investing himself into the song and trying his hardest to make us care about what he's singing. Adam Levine doesn't even bother, and not even an over-the-top Cardi B guest verse saves it from being one of the bleakest and most boring songs to ever hit #1, let alone get to the GOAT list (and this is a list with Stevie B's - "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)" )

^Not that Memories is much better. At least it seems it won't even get the chance to make it to #1 nor the GOAT, thankfully.

Memories is certainly not much better than Girls Like You or Someone You Loved in fact it's significantly worse than both of those. Sadly it's probably gonna get into the top 10 on the year end list unless the bottom drops out beneath it really soon

Either Circles or The Box will probably make it into the all-time list i feel like Circles is already close to that, it's been on the Hot 100 for 23 weeks now and it hasn't left the top 10 since its debut, and i don't see it leaving any time soon

With the brutal upcoming album bombs by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Justin Bieber, I sadly think the two Jonas Brothers songs and I Don't Care may not re-enter in the 2020 YE.

If One Man Band and Even Though I'm Leaving stay on the charts this week, they should be able to make it even if they get kicked out next week.

I'm okay with Only Human repeating but Sucker and I Don't Care should have left the charts long ago (even though I don't hate either song).

I honestly feel like Juicy has had a strong enough chart run so far that it will comfortably make the YE, even if it’s in the lower ranges of the chart which is not something I would be saying if this was happening in any year 2018 or prior Same, I honestly find songs that peak in the 40s-50s that make the year end list way more interesting as they used to be very rare until now.
I also have my eye on Heart On Ice (peak 54) since I think it could pull a Close Friends or Worth It and just barely make the 2020 year end list.
Heart On Ice is still in the 50s and it's looking likely that it could pull it off and scrape by. I'm not complaining though, it's a pretty good song.

so I’ve decided to look back at what was #1 of the year at this point each year (13 weeks in) since 2014 and compare them to their final year end positions to get an idea of how Circles will fare this year:
2014: Timber (#11) 2015: Uptown Funk (#1) 2016: Hello (#7) 2017: most likely Black Beatles (#19) 2018: Perfect (#2) 2019: thank u, next (#12)
since Hello was an outlier here due to its insanely high weekly point totals which is the opposite of what Circles has, either Circles will end up like Timber, BB, and TUN and exit out of the top 10 and Hot 100 soon enough to the point where it will miss top 10 YE, or it will end up like Uptown Funk and Perfect and never go away until it falls victim to the 25-52 rule (assuming it doesn’t beat said rule) in which case it will make top 10 or top 5

Would need a huge collapse and given its chart run so far that seems highly unlikely

Would need a huge collapse and given its chart run so far that seems highly unlikely Circles is gonna finish Top 5 no doubt, Top 3 even seems durable at this point. The song is still steady on streaming and it's #1 on radio still, with weak competition behind it. I feel like it's gonna have some insane longevity.

^Quite probably. Circles would have 42 weeks in the Hot 100 to count toward 2020 Year-End to reach 52 weeks chart. And that's assumes that it wouldn't manage to beat the 52 week recurrent rule, which it just might.

yeah there’s no doubt in my mind Circles will go the Perfect route rather than the BB/TUN/Timber one considering Post’s record with longevity (with the exception of Goodbyes obviously), and also the fact that it’s still in the top 3 as opposed to BB which was already out of the top 10 and TUN and Timber which were on their way out
however i also do think it will not perform as well on the 2020 YE as well as Perfect did on the 2018 YE, it will most likely have less weeks in the top 10 (unless it somehow breaks the record) and on the Hot 100 during the chart year overall due to a lot of its momentum already being had in 2019. also its weak weekly point totals

I'm okay with Only Human repeating but Sucker and I Don't Care should have left the charts long ago (even though I don't hate either song). they both stayed on this week so they're probably safe now! it's such a miracle neither of these actually got caught between years considering they peaked right at the start of the chart year
