Here's the projected cutoff for the next 7 weeks assuming all songs stay in their respective chart positions and no new big songs debut.
Week 33 (63.46%) 61 Sunday Best 1796 62 P*$$y Fairy (OTW) 1791 63 OUT WEST 1768 - - - - - PROJECTED CUTOFF - - - - - 64 Tusa 1755 65 Kinfolks 1714 66 BEST ON EARTH 1710
Week 34 (65.38%) 63 P*$$y Fairy (OTW) 1791 64 OUT WEST 1768 65 Tusa 1755 - - - - - PROJECTED CUTOFF - - - - - 66 THE SCOTTS 1715 67 Kinfolks 1714 68 BEST ON EARTH 1710
Week 35 (67.31%) 65 Does To Me 1771 66 OUT WEST 1768 67 Tusa 1755 - - - - - PROJECTED CUTOFF - - - - - 68 Heartless 1741 69 Kinfolks 1714 70 BEST ON EARTH 1710
Week 36 (69.23%) 67 P*$$y Fairy (OTW) 1791 68 OUT WEST 1768 69 Tusa 1755 - - - - - PROJECTED CUTOFF - - - - - 70 Emotionally Scarred 1735 71 Rain On Me 1730 72 Kinfolks 1714
Week 37 (71.15%) 69 Even Though I'm Leaving 1804 70 P*$$y Fairy (OTW) 1791 71 Stuck With U 1783 - - - - - PROJECTED CUTOFF - - - - - 72 OUT WEST 1768 73 Tusa 1755 74 Hard To Forget 1731
Week 38 (73.08%) 71 Supalonely 1816 72 Even Though I'm Leaving 1804 73 P*$$y Fairy (OTW) 1791 - - - - - PROJECTED CUTOFF - - - - - 74 Beer Can't Fix 1771 75 OUT WEST 1768 76 Tusa 1755
Week 39 (75%) 73 Even Though I'm Leaving 1804 74 P*$$y Fairy (OTW) 1791 75 After A Few 1772 - - - - - PROJECTED CUTOFF - - - - - 76 Beer Can't Fix 1771 77 OUT WEST 1768 78 GOOBA 1761
EDIT: I added a 23rd week for Pu$$y Fairy since it seems to be getting enough radio gains for a 23rd week. I also removed TROLLZ and The Bigger Picture for now because those songs have just debut, so adding them to the list would mean that their numbers will be way too high.

Year-end predictions based on the chart dated Jun 27. 2020.
The Bones accomplishes on the YTD chart what it was never able to do on the weekly charts: It has reached the top ten. (And will probably climb to #9 next two weeks.)

You know this trend of songs debuting at #1 and then falls off slowly reminded me of the chaos that is Japanese Hot 100 where you cannot predict if a song can go to #1 or debuting at #1
speaking of which they counted Twitter mention in their algorythm. I wonder if that was implemented into Hot 100 what would've charted?

I wonder if that was implemented into Hot 100 what would've charted? Probably a bunch of BTS and other K Pop songs.

Hi everyone, i'm new! I would like to say that I am now proud to be part of this forum. Regarding the year 2020, I'm happy because we have a lot of diversities: the rise of the country, the edm songs which progress thanks to Spotify, more R&B songs and inevitably there is Pop and Rap. It's crazy because in 2017-2019 we felt that there was a rivalry in the charts between Pop and Rap! Now that there is less rapper bomb album, we can see that there is diversity and I am proud that this decade begins this way!

Welcome although based on the name that I quite know you because as far as I can remember, you make mashups on YouTube, right? Yes! Just heard your newest megamix and the concept of a megamix consisting of songs that peaked at #2 in the Billboard Hot 100 (aka fell to "Old Town Road" in 2019's case) is just great! P.S. Dylan :) has the #1 version of that "songs peaking at this number" concept, but I think it was like way back 2017.

why do people still have Circles as #1 lmao Because inverse point systems aren't very accurate for estimating points in the weekly top 10.

Don't Start Now, ROCKSTAR, Blinding Lights, The Box and Circles seem like a sure top5 now I'm not confident ROCKSTAR will end up top 5. There's only about 20 weeks left in the year, and it's about 5,000 points outside #5, so it would need to average 250 points per week, assuming nothing else goes top 5 in the meantime. That means it would still have to be top 10 in November, and at least half that time in the top five. Not impossible, but not likely either.

Expected year end placement of dropped out songs - June 2020 edition (based of where'd they be in 2019)
Someone You Loved - 20 Dance Monkey - 21 Ballin' - 29 My Oh My - 41 Ritmo - 66 Godzilla - 74 Sum 2 Prove - 80 Out West - 93

I mean both songs contain unlistenable shrieking but I guess Dance Monkey has a better beat?

Here's the projected 2020 year end list positions for every song that has dropped out so far using my 2020 year end predictions list.
Someone You Loved - #20 Dance Monkey - #23 Roxanne - #24 10,000 Hours - #28 Ballin' - #29 BOP - #35 Heartless - #36 Lose You To Love Me - #37 Good As Hell - #38 My Oh My - #39 No Guidance - #42 Woah - #57 Senorita - #61 Heart On Ice - #63 RITMO - #64 HIGHEST IN THE ROOM - #65 Bad Guy - #67 Trampoline - #72 Godzilla - #78 Truth Hurts - #79 One Man Band - #80 Yummy - #81 Suicidal - #82 Sum 2 Prove #83 Bandit - #84 Only Human - #85 Homesick - #86 You Should Be Sad - #87 Juicy - #88 Hot - #89 All I Want For Christmas Is You - #90 Panini - #91 Slide - #95 Even Though I'm Leaving - #96 OUT WEST - #97 Tusa - #98 Kinfolks - #99 BEST ON EARTH - #100 - - - - - PROJECTED CUTOFF - - - - - More Hearts Than Mine - #105 I Don't Care - #109 Ridin' Roads - #118
I will probably update this list in the future to make it more accurate, especially the top half of the list, which I believe is too low at the moment.

I mean both songs contain unlistenable shrieking but I guess Dance Monkey has a better beat? And "Someone You Loved" has better lyrics, I mean the only flaw of "Dance Monkey" for me was Tones and I's voice, the rest were acceptable enough

Chris, the year end list so far has 6ix9ine, Russ, The Black Eyed Peas and blackbearย 6ix9ine is most likely not gonna enter the year end top 100. His songs are dropping like a rock. itโll take a miracle but Russโs song could miss as well

Then Don't Start Now for #4 and ROCKSTAR at #5. That would be a great top5 imo! Rockstar is not likely but still, Roddy killing, Dua doing it for the females, Post and his annual longevity king of a song..

But personally, I want it to be at #5 to coincide with Post/21's "Rockstar" also being at #5 in YE 2018.

Roddy Ricch has 4 confirmed songs so far for the year end. Walk em down could make it his possible 5th. How many hits do you think heโll have on the year end?

with Circles passing The Box for the first time since (probably) January on this coming weekโs Hot 100, itโs unlikely that my or anyone elseโs inverse point system will ever have The Box above Circles unless The Box stays on the charts for a substantial amount of time after Circles, but it really all depends on how the 25/52 rule will treat Circles
