The audience update is much better but the spin update needs to do better than a +69.

She thinks putting a 40s 'funny' video on a hip hop track instead of an eye popping one (like her performance from Dec on Fallon which was brilliant) will mean she's a serious artist.

The sad thing is they did the right thing before The Fallon performance of Havana had very eye catching colors particularly red They emulated that much in the video since the video has her largely in that eye popping red dress for the main portion of it and the coloring of the scenes compliments it. |

Even though is clearly not a huge top 10 smash, I wouldn’t say it’s not a hit. This has done far better than her past few attempts, so it’s definitely putting her back in the right direction.

The video is cute visually. The messaging seems a little weird though. She doesn't want to be a damsel in distress anymore, but then in the end a man has to come and save her? I don't think they thought that treatment out very well.

The performance was a step in the right direction, but the videos (while there's a lot of effort into them) always fail to deliver, in my opinion.

Ugh, Camila.
She’s so unlikeable. Luckily for her she’ll always have Havana. All her videos are pretty poor efforts. The Havana video could’ve been much better for how huge the song was, the whole story aspect of it was just too much. Never Be The Same had a horrible video. Consequences, the video, was great, admittedly.
Her energy and vibe is just so dark, I’m not surprised she’s not really connecting with people for the amount of push she gets. She’s everywhere, performing at award shows all the time, almost the same way Beyonce was early in her career.
DaBaby is the saving grace with this song.

I like that she chose to do a quirky video. It is coherent with her previous work and sound (Havana, Liar - same director by the way)
Video is cool. I like the effort, but I am not sold on the overall execution. The storyline is very weak.
Black and white is also a choice.
Overall I like the coherence of the image she is crafting - which means she stays true to something, whether it is her brand or herself.
There was always this lack of consistency in term of sound and image. Maybe we are getting somewhere now, but it is worrying that it does not connect too well with audiences.

The video is completely different to what I thought it would be. Rather disappointed with it.
I thought the song was cute at first, but it's burned on me quite quickly. I have a feeling the same will happen with radio. It's been a decent sized hit so far though, so regardless of what happens it's done quite well. Especially compared to the previous singles from the album.

The song is currently #26 on Spotify and #22 on iTunes, how is that not connecting? That's decent #s for any song. The reason why this hasn't moved up much in the last couple of weeks is because out of the whole top 16, only 3 songs are losing spins. It's hard to move up on Mediabase when most songs ahead of it are getting positive updates.
