The amount of performance slots she's been able to book is simply incredible.
Especially, considering her first 5 singles have all bombed.

Now I feel even worse for how my spirit animal Lorde was treated in her sophomore era.
After "Green Light" failed to become a huge hit (it did manage to peak within the Top 20), the label basically dropped the ball completely.

"Liar" was performed on The Graham Norton Show and BBC Radio Live Lounge, while "Shameless" was performed at iHeartRadio Music Festival and Verizon Up.

She has a really good team. I’d say there’s enough here for them to work with, but they should have put the energy into a better single. I get what is supposed to attract in this, but it’s missing that extra heat to really make it undoubtable.

The problem is that this is probably the most radio ready song on the album, so they really don't have much else to work with. Again, This Love has potential, but I can't see radio giving it a chance coming from her.

This was smart. Best track off the album, it’s an Earworm. Already has a lot of interest and is popping up on Tik Tok. And dababy is so big right now. Her team should know how to handle this appropriately.

Lorde wasn’t an attention ho who wanted to be seen every min, a major difference between the 2. Lorde also makes music that’s not typical for pop listeners(hence her disappearance). Makes great music and personally a better performer but cmon we all kno how American pop music works ..

Because sis performed it and it didn't make a dent anywhere, was even playlisted on TTH and still even crack the Top 200.
