Yeah it debuted with huge sales, but by the time Christmas hit where was it charting? I think #19 That was the year before older holiday songs could re-enter the Hot 100, right?

Would be pretty crazy if Taylor debuted #1 with a random Christmas song.

I doubt Taylor is gonna push the new Christmas song like she would her singles so I don’t see it making a huge debut. She’s probably hoping for a Top 40 peak at least and then let the song grow over the years like every other Christmas track.

Disney just released the full scene of Into to the Unknown on YouTube, should help its streaming further Jumped for joy when I saw that yesterday. It already has about 5 million views

Tough break for Abel. Looks like the Wednesday drop + dual single was a bad strategy on his part. All it did was strip away the bigger initial streams from the tracking week and split the attention between two songs. Oh well, maybe he'll be luckier with the third single.

Also, radio isn't gonna take to Heartless, and the streams aren't going to be increasing from here. I see this performing like HIGHEST IN THE ROOM and spending a couple of weeks in the top 10 before languishing in the top 20 because of high AM streams but low metrics on everything else. At least Travis got a #1 though, this is pretty embarrassing and sad for Abel.

The Weeknd dropped two good singles that will have staying power. He won't be taking any Ls!
ME! wasn't just front-loaded, it was one of the worst songs of all time! So no comparison here!

If Spotify doesn't like it, then chances are that radio listeners will hate it. The logical move is to start pushing the song with more crossover appeal.

Could AIFCIY even manage to get two weeks at #1 in the Hot 100? The top 10 is really looking weak ...

That #1 is confirmed for AIWFCIY. If it has 225+ points already it’ll have atleast 350+ by peak Christmas week.
Dance Monkey is already losing points, and Heartless already has a MV — it’s not going to really grow anywhere outside radio which will just keep it steady in the same area while streaming decreases.

If that happened, during the last chart week of December and the first chart week of January, Mariah would instantly have spent time at number one in four consecutive decades. I think she would be the first artist ever to do that.

^Yeah. That would be a unexpected surprise as well as a good way to start the new decade.

Even if Heartless doesn't get a #1 this week, the weeknd could still get to #1 eith Blinding Lights if he stsrts pushing radio more. He should honestly just forget Heartless, it will probably have a HIGHEST IN THE ROOM like run, but Blinding Lights has potential ro get #1 at some point

Don't rule out "Heartless" yet folks.

I misread the quote lmao. But yeah, my point remains, if properly pushed the song still has the potential to reach number one. With us not being sure how many singles he sold with the limited time merch that was offered this week (as far I'm aware), there's a good chance that it might be enough to edge him past "Circles".

37(+3) Tones and I - Dance Monkey 38.94(+0.96)[/div] 38(+1) Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now 38.88(+0.87)
The way these 2 keep sticking right next to each other

www.rollingstone.com/charts/songs/Rolling Stone has AIWFC with more OD streams this week than Roxanne and around the same as Blinding Lights which is proboably around 20-22m streams. Would be crazy if this is accurate

Though this would also mean Mariah wouldn't do it as 2020 is part of the 2011-2020 calendar decade.
