Just got my weekly Rate the Music...and pulled up the top-10 rated songs on country radio, and this is #5 overall, right ahead of Morgan Wallen.
I think radio is going to push this to top-10 at minimum.

I think radio is going to push this to top-10 at minimum. I wouldn’t be too sure. The sales and streaming both are virtually nonexistent. I think if it doesn’t improve, it might not have much life in it left. I do believe it’ll hit Top 20 though.

I'd say its top 10 chances are higher with it testing that well with non-existant sales/streams than if it were testing poorly but like consistently top 40 on iTunes and streaming well. At this point I agree at this point top 20 seems a likely minimum though.

Bad News: This song lost it's bullet this week losing 15 spins this week.
Good News: Tenille Arts scores her very first Top 20 with this song as she becomes the fourth solo women to celebrate her first Top 20 on radio this year (Ingrid Andress, Gabby Barrett, and Ashley McBryde). I am really unsure if this has what it takes to make it all the way to the Top 10 but it is very satisfying to see another female artist make the Top 20 even if I do wish this song was connecting a lot more than what it is currently doing.

Impressive 👏

Listen to the beginning of this song & the beginning of Maren Morris - I could use a love song. They are the same song!

What's funny is this song has spent the past five weeks at #20 on Mediabase and yet I am not worried about this song leaving anytime soon as it has a bullet of 112 this week which is pretty good especially considering the fact that this has a higher bullet than the latest singles from Kenny Chesney, Niko Moon, Dustin Lynch, Florida Georgia Line, Jordan Davis, Gabby Barrett, Brothers Osborne, Morgan Wallen, Keith Urban/Pink, Sam Hunt, and Dierks Bentley.
Maybe I am being way too optimistic but this song is still at a similar pace to both "In Between" and "After A Few", I don't know if Tenille Arts will have enough in the tank to go all the way to #1 like those 2 did but I do think "Somebody Like That" should be able to make a run in the Top 20 as it has kept a solid pace since hitting the Top 30 back in late September/early October and their are much bigger weak links right now on the chart.

Love this song. Something refreshing about seeing a new female artist with very little of a name on a small label with much lesser of a pull than the big ones, seeing success. Truly hope this finishes top 10 when it’s all said and done.

48th week is a charm for Arts as "Somebody Like That" finally reaches top 20 for Billboard Country Airplay rising from #21 to #19!!!

This or “Momma’s House” is going to break the longevity record on Billboard I have a feeling. As a matter of fact they both could break the record probably. As far as reaching #1 is concerned, I don’t know if this will but “Momma’s House” has a good shot too. It’s always nice to see a new female artist having a hit though.

Fingers crossed this goes the distance like "In Between" and not die in the teens like "Make You Mine". So far this song has had a solid week gaining 119 spins and 863k in audience the past 3 days so signs are showing this .holding its own in the Top 20

So random that this brand female new artist from a super small label is able to hit top 20 without OTV. Before Gabby Barrett's monster hit, that hadn't happened since... Kelsea Ballerini. And before that? I don't even remember. Here for it! It's catchy and sounds great on the radio.

Technically a trio but Runaway June did hit the Top 20/10 with "Buy My Own Drinks" and that did not have OTV same with Ashley McBryde "One Night Standards" last year. Oh and also the last female act before Kelsea Ballerini would be Maddie & Tae with "Girl In A Country Song" and for solo females it would be Danielle Bradbery "Heart Of Dixie".

Yes I did forget about RJ. Even though this is not Tenille's debut single, in my head I consider it that. While Ashley's debut did hit top 30 it took until her fourth to get to top 10. I guess it's just interesting that Tenille Arts is randomly climbing the charts. Encouraging to say the least!

It's her first charted single, so it makes sense what you were going for with your comparisons. Runaway June had two minor successes before they broke into the top 20 with "Drinks," as well.

Her streaming for this song is not horrible considering it's on zero large Spotify playlists. 10M is impressive for a relatively unknown artist having her first hit without the support of a major playlist.

Here in Canada, I have been trying to share the word of Tenille with everyone. Personally, I prefer 'Everybody Knows Everybody' but her entire album is flawless. She has a track called 'I Hate This' which gives me chills. She is such a talented songwriter.

I am so pleasently surprised this song is doing so well, fingers crossed it's the first of many from Tenille. I liked her album, this one, Everybody Knows Everybody, Another Life and I Hate This were all highlights for me.
What's her current single in Canada?

So glad this is doing well. Do we know if this has hit callouts yet or if not when it will? I'm hoping to see the gains continue, especially sales and streams. So I didn't see a thread for her album in the sub forum, is it ok to make a thread for that album?

Yep this song continues to do well gaining 263 spins and 1361k in audience this week and moving up 2 spots to #15 on Mediabase. Now I do expect this to be the peak on Mediabase for a few weeks since Brett Young, Morgan Wallen, and Gabby Barrett are pretty close to passing her but with how healthy the bullet is, I do think "Somebody Like That" has a solid shot of hitting the Top 10.

Did a RadioTraks survey for her next single
Options are: Everybody Knows Everybody, One Bedroom Apartment - very much themed like the House that Built Me, Give It To Me Straight
I really liked One Bedroom Apartment. I hope that is the choice, although Everybody Knows Everybody is probably the safer pick.
