...yep, still meant it.

Okay, so here's the deal: I'm probably not going to be doing reveals tonight. The deadline to edit your rankings, if you have already submitted, will remain 7pm US Eastern later today. This is a hard deadline, so if you edit your ranking after 7pm, your edit will not be counted. The deadline to submit for the rankdown, if you have not already done so, will also be 7pm US Eastern today, and that's a hard deadline, too...sort of. If you let me and shazam know that you are going to submit, but will be late, we'll allow you an additional day to submit. I don't have a set time in mind tomorrow, but I'll let you know when we get closer to the time that I will start reveals tomorrow. If you do NOT let me and shazam know that you need an additional day and still submit late, I will be less lenient and will consider not counting your submission.
So, let me make this abundantly clear:
If you have yet to submit for the seed 4 RD and plan to do so, but you know that you will not make it before 7pm tonight, you need to let me and shazam know in advance that you will submit late. After you do this, you will be granted an extra day to submit.

Okay, so, the deadline for editing your rankings has officially passed. Additionally, if you have not submitted and haven't told myself and/or shazam that you plan to submit within the next 24 hours, I'm holding true to what I said before: There's a very good chance your submission won't be counted.
I'm officially waiting on three people now: Albie, jamesflame, and peacebone. Whenever I get their submissions, I will officially close up shop. Even if all three submit tonight, we're still probably not going to start reveals tonight. If all three submit tonight, then that means shazam and I will have extra time to get ready for reveals tomorrow, and, hopefully, that'll give us enough time to make sure that everything is correct.

I feel a survey coming on...
What songs in seed 4 stand out as top ten or even #1 contenders? What songs in seed 4 stand out as bottom ten or even #44 contenders? What songs could have high or low standard deviations? If you submitted songs, how do you think your songs will do? Do you have any ideas of who submitted what songs? (If someone mentions you and correctly guesses your songs, please don't admit that those songs are yours. Secrets can be fun sometimes.)

If you submitted songs, how do you think your songs will do? I ranked one of my own songs at #1; I'm guessing it'll land somewhere in the 11-15 range with a fairly low SD. I ranked my other song at #8; I'm guessing it'll be a high SD and go out somewhere in the 31-35 range.
Do you have any ideas of who submitted what songs? (If someone mentions you and correctly guesses your songs, please don't admit that those songs are yours. Secrets can be fun sometimes.) "Survive" - janinho "Lies" - AI "Don't Go" and "Enola Gay" - Tom "O, Porcupine" - wheat "Wax and Wane" - Lord "Neon Knights" - Doc
I won't overcommit though, since that might kinda give away which songs are mine, lol.
Also, as a (somewhat) party pooper, between seeds 2, 3 and 4 that I've listened to so far, I found Seed 4 to be the weakest. That's not to say it isn't good, though.

This song wasn’t on Spotify for me so I listened to it on YouTube, only I didn’t realise when it ended and another song on this album started and I eventually wound up listening to half of this album out of order without realising.
(It was pretty good honestly lol)

Ah. Two of my top tens are in the bottom 4. Cool. Well, I have to say, I've never been *too* huge on the heavier subgenres of metal, but that Dissection song was a really good discovery. And never heard of Strike Anywhere, but I've come back to that song a few times since as well. And while the other two did fall in my bottom three, I didn't dislike either at all, I just think this whole set is good
