Drake putting out a new song/video was actually on the news, on TV, in Portugal. Wow. He's really out here trying to piss me off. Haven't heard the song yet, so be honest with me - on a scale of "Nice for What" to "God's Plan", how mediocre is it? Anyway, Drake is big but God is bigger, Mariah shall prosper. Where?  |

Highest In The Room wasn't that great tbh and Blinding Lights was the better choice than Heartless. The Weeknd was doomed anyways IMO. his problem is that everything hes done sounds exactly the same what about Drake tho? |

Wait till the chapter 6 album is released, he might get the whole album on the hot 100 just like starboy. And tbh he doesnβt sound the same with these 2 singles. Everything else he released this year that wasnβt his did sound the same. Lost in the fire sounded like a starboy/hurt you mashup. Power is power sounded like another pray for me. Listen to heartless and blinding lights again and see if you can truly compare it to his other songs other than being influenced by them And i donβt think drake is doomed if he can still chart freestyles/old material on the charts. If he does fall off a bit he did quite mention that he and abel made up so that collab can smash like it has before |

Drake is versatile as hell, the "sounds the same" complaint is just a meme that all his haters like to use in place of actual criticism. Ironically, it comes from the same people who are quick to pounce and call him a culture vulture every time he tries a new sound.

Just heard the snippets for Bieber's new music and I'm underwhelmed. It feels like Skrillex is gone from production of if he's not, then it just sounds like he's trend chasing. In this case, just very similar music to the pop R&B Chris Brown is making. About as anonymous and forgettable as Brown too.

Hopefully once the Grammy's are done, Billie will start promo for EIW. I think her team doesn't want to focus too much on EIW aside from radio since it's not apart of her album era and Billie's still doing Grammy campaigning.
I wonder how Bieber will perform. Only reason I Don't Care got blocked was cause of OTR.

I find it interesting that Blinding Lights is now above Heartless on Spotify. Seems like that track is gonna stick around a lot longer, especially once radio kicks in.

"Blinding Lights" is #2 on Today's Top Hits, "Heartless" is #10 Β―\_(γ)_/Β― also #12 on Pop Rising. they're slowly pushing Blinding Lights more now |
