Am I the only one that dislikes The Box? I like the song and I can see why people like it, but I'm tired of derivative artists. Roddy Ricch sounds like a Young Thug/Future lab experiment. There are moments I can't tell him and Young Thug apart. |

he tried copying my ICONIC hot 100 top 10 where sicko mode returned to #1 with "bundles" and a few hours later after being delayed for so long it was revealed old town road went #1 for the first time! I distinctly remember that being Fortnite concerts, I thought. 7 Rings going top 10 was almost as good, low key hope you continue trolling on over due days. |

Maroon 5 being mentioned in the same sentence as Rolling Stones is a chart blasphemy of some sort to me ... they probably knew what they were doing when they released this. |

Memories climbed to #2 only because of the huge sales boost. The boost is gone now so expect it to drop to maybe #4 next week. It's still discounted, so the boost isn't gone. |

These discussions on the "most remembered songs" are so tiring imo. Like it's entirely subjective. Everyone has different life experiences and different circles they hang out in. And there's regional differences. So everybody is going to have a different list of songs they've been exposed to the most.

^Both songs managed to beat the Hot 100 recurrent rules mostly thanks to year-end radio airplay. So a big cultural event wasn't needed.

An old song can re-enter if gaining in multiple metrics, like Tequila and Speechless did. The JB songs likely did this.

This is annoying because it removes the whole usefulness of the holiday songs. So now they clog up the charts for a month but they don't even get rid of the old stuff? Useless.

If Memories hits #1 I really hope they're around for 10 more years to grab a new #1 to tie the new Mariah record. But by the time that's possible for Maroon 5 AIWFCIY will already have been number one for the first week of 2030... |
