An innocent suggestion, but there are hundreds of these Top 40 Parade thread/posts in the nostalgia thread that really bog down the results which searching in the Nostalgia forum. Could we possibly have a subsection dedicated to just Nostalgia charts? It becomes a task trying to sift through these one off Top Parade threads to find a song to comment on or read.

That is an excellent idea! I've been noticing all along that all the Top 40 chart threads make it much much harder to find specific songs to post in. I'm glad you really thought about it, Sam Lufti Asghari. I agree that there should be a section that is completely devoted to the Nostalgia charts. |

I don't really see a reason why not. I see these threads in the 80s subforum – are they being posted in the others too? Does it make more sense for them to be categorized under each decade subforum (so Nostalgia > 80s > Charts) or to all be within one second-level subforum (Nostalgia > Charts)? (tag or quote me when you reply, please, or I'll probably miss it lol) |

So far the 80s sub forum has a bunch of Top Parade chart posts and the 90s forum is flooded with “Music World Chart” posts; both bog down search results. Those are the only two decades as far as I can see, but I don’t really frequent anything outside of 70s- 00s. Thanks again. |

I don't know much about these Top Parade charts, but would it be appropriate to put Hot 100 threads for older weeks (say, the week in 1998 where airplay singles were eligible) in a "Nostalgia Charts" section or no?

Kurt kindly following up on this lol So this didn't take nearly as long as I was expecting it to – subforums are set up in the 80s and 90s subforums, and I've moved all the relevant threads I could see into them. Let me know (you or anyone else) if other decades need them too, or feel free to report threads that still need to be moved. |
