I am fairly sure "The Runner" would have been high here. And not just in my ranking.

Baptise Me is pretty cool and This Land is good too.
Waiting and 3 Nights will not be missed.
Total Disaster ok.
The Runner would have been top 20 for me, maybe top 10. Best single from the era.
Hey Larocco isn't as good as Casanova.
The Chain imo isn't that good of a cover and I heard the film the cover is from sucked ass. Still a better cover than what Evanescence are doing on active.

70. 99 - Barns CourtneyI don't care if they do play it in hell. I'm going to learn the rap so I can sing along. The Nintendo rap n' stuff is still my favorite part of the song. 69. Supply & Demand - Wilder WoodsThis had a cool Tony Orlando and Dawn vibe you don't usually get on these charts. 68. Get Out and Get It - Devon GilfillianThis song falls where it should. Not much to go with musically, I thought his vocals were at least a bit enticing. 67. Love is Love - Grace PotterThis falls in my "passable songs" range, but this stunk compared to Grace Potter and The Nocturnals. Particularly "Paris (Ooh La-la)". 66. Baby Outlaw - Elle KingOh Comon. This is way better than anything she has released so far. Great lyrics with werstern a fide melodies. Plus it sounds great for "Death Proof" soundtrack. The chorus rocks. 65. Armor - Sara BareillesSo it looks like we have begun the female tanking. I thought she did a great vocal delivery. Really holding her notes in the chorus. That's how you suppose to sing. Not just insert a bunch of eheheh's to disguise the fact that your vocal range is shit. 64. Gotta Get to Know Ya - Seratones F U C K I knew I should have put this in my top 10. This is female Lenny Kravitz vibe. Everyone should be on their knees praising this song. This is soooooooo hot I'm gonna start charting it on my weekly chart. 63. Complainer - Cold War KidsTHis band doesn't do much to excite me. I gave "Mircale Mile" and "Love Is Mystical" some modest chart action. The one I absolutely hated was "First". I upgraded this one a bit because of the vocals. They sounded way better in the studio version too. 62. I Was Wrong - BAILENGuess what. I was Right. You all were wrong here. This is a song I found really satisfying. There is a lot of versatility going on in the vocal department. I kept pushing it up my list. Almost made the top 20. 61. I Know What It's Like - Jeff TweedyThis sucked. Sounds like CCR doing Tom Petty. That's not a good sound. Also I learned that this guy is lead singer for Wilco. 60. Can I Go On - Sleater-KinneyOne of my top 3 favorite discoveries here. Some people seem to get annoyed with good melodies. What the hell is that about? I Love the music and the guitars after each verse, and at times she sounds like an Autotuneless Katy Perry. That's always a good thing. Does it give me an 80's vibe? If I try hard enough I can find one in almost every song. 59. Love Is Everywhere (Beware) - WilcoWhen I'm doing previewing these lists and a "folka thon like this turns up it totally kills my inspiration to continue. Not for me. Moving on... 58. Power over Me - Dermot KennedySeems I wasn't the only who preferred this second offering much much more. Was it me or does this sound like the best Bastille song Bastille should have actually released instead of roasting Marshmellows all year long? 57. All Your'n - Tyler ChildersThis is definitely something I would tank. Too "wilderness" for me. 56. So Caught Up - The Teskey BrothersI like this one so much I kept returning to it on a daily basis while I ranked the rest of the songs. Didn't you all get some smooth early NEO soul Fitz and The Tantrums vibes here. This is when you need that Michael Fitzgerald cameo to upgrade the song into top 10 status. Those pianos remind me of when they were band who actually gave a hoot about the music they wrote.

EXTRA:
Baptise Me - Robert Randolph & the Family Band More Lenny Kravitz vibes. With a better singer this would have made my top half. It's still pretty enticing tho.
This Land - Gary Clark Jr. This sin't the one we ranked on Active. His vocals delivery was for shit here. Almost sounds like spoken/Rap at times.
Waiting - KIAN I hate this kind of paint by numbers indiepo. This is the kind of song you listen to while sitting alone in the middle of a forest. Something I never do.
3 Nights - Dominic Fike I would have enjoyed tanking this song on this list hard.
Total Disaster - Rhett Miller I was expecting the title ti describe the song. It wasn't that bad but still nothing I need to return to.
The Runner - Foals This one would have been in my top 10 too. Also F U C K Alt chart ,or streaming (I still don't know who is to blame) for flopping this song. 8D
Hey Larocco - Rayland Baxter That was some serious hokey ass silliness there. Pass.
The Chain - The Highwomen You can almost tell a song is gonna rock by the thumbnail. This was really good. Loved the vocal arrangement in this one.

Apart from “99” which would’ve been near my top 10 (if not in it) I’m okay with everything going out in this set

Are you guys ready for another painful set? Well, #55 contains a #2 rank and a #3 rank and is the first reveal for this artist with more than one song here. Three others ranked it top 20, along with seven bottom 20s, none which are bottom 10s. This had a rough start before starting to move up a little.

We start off this set with a perfect ranking for the year-end chart, lol. I was surprised this received a few low rankings when submissions were opened. It's not as good as "Lost in My Mind" or "Shake", but it's a good enough song. 55

#54 is the 4th highest SD. How exciting can this be? Well, four people ranked this top 10 and five put it in their bottom 5, two being #100s. This managed to sneak into the top 50 momentarily, then dropped before gradually rising to its eventual position.

This song is a lot of fun. It took me a minute for it to grow on me, but it has a lot of charm to it. Also the horns are a solid addition.

What unlucky song missed the top 50? Well, this song like "Renegade", had a good start there for the most part, but was kicked out late in the game. Three people ranked this bottom 20 and two put it top 20, one being a top 5.
