Oh No may well have been my favorite tune from The Revivalists. It sounds like their take on Lo/Hi.
But what's up with the video? It looked like they were only able to get like 30-45 seconds of footage and were told to make a video out of it.

- What songs are your surprised made it this far?
I'm only really surprised by "all over now", really. every alt crossover that made the top ten here also was top ten in the alt rankdown so there's no real reason why I'd be surprised by them making it here, "hypersonic missiles" has a proven track record of doing really well in big rankdowns, "when am I gonna lose you" only just peaked on alt like, last month, and a lot of people were predicting it in the top ten, and "rylan" is by a band who have done really well in recent aaa rankdowns, even with how "you had your soul with you" performed
- Which songs are you disappointed about coming up short?
most of the exclusives, really
- Care to predict how this top ten plays out?
I haven't predicted a top ten in a while so here goes:
10: all over now 9: social cues 8: rylan 7: superposition 6: harmony hall 5: doin' time 4: hypersonic missiles 3: northern lights 2: when am I gonna lose you 1: alligator

{TOP TEN THOUGHTS}I mean I really like "All over Now" but I thought it would be one of my first top 10 losses somewhere in the 20s or 30s at best. I definitely did NOT expect it to make the top ten here. "Seventeen", "Patience", and "Red Bull & Hennessy" were all really tough losses to take right before the top ten. "Patience" by far is my biggest disappointment though. At least "Rylan" and "Hypersonic Missiles" were able to make it even if neither is very surprising. All the remaining Alt repeats are great though and I couldn't really justify ranking them much differently here than I did in Alt. {FALLING DOWN THE STATS OF YOUR SMILE} {NO RANKINGS SPENT}

- What songs are your surprised made it this far? "All Over Now". I was pretty sure it would do well but not this well! You know that I ranked it somewhere in my top 22 so you know I like this one a lot, so I'm not complaining!
- Which songs are you disappointed about coming up short? "Patience"
- Care to predict how this top ten plays out? I think we'll have a repeat of Alt for the top 2 - I don't think any of the AAA exclusives are strong enough to topple those two.
10. Rylan 9. All Over Now 8. Social Cues 7. Superposition 6. When Am I Gonna Lose You 5. Doin' Time 4. Harmony Hall 3. Hypersonic Missiles 2. Northern Lights 1. Alligator
- Bonus question: What are your favorite extras in this game? What about least favorite? I'm not familiar enough with a lot of those to answer this but I will say excluding crossovers, my favorites at first glance are The Highwomen songs and "2all".

Cool I get to catch up. I'd say my top 10 took the biggest hits last night including my favorite rediscoveries of the year. 25. Moderation - Florence + the MachineThis song is pretty decent. It might be a tad too theatrical for me, but It anchors my top 50 strongly. I doubt she will ever capture a crown song performance like she did with "Ship To Wreck". That was the first song from her that blew me away, and its the gift the keeps on giving. 24. Missed Connection - The Head and the HeartThis live version sounded pretty corny, but the studio one is pretty good. I wouldn't say I missed out on charting it, but if I ever was to chart something by this band this might have been it. 23. Now That You're Gone - The RaconteursFirst hit my Top 10 takes tonight. One of many. Here is the part where I get a slap on the head, because I though this song had female vocals. I don't regret putting it in my top 10. Its a sincere ranking, and the song hits the bullseye. I just thought a chick was singing it, which means I didn't pay attention to the video. 22. No Bullets Spent - Spoonand this was my second rediscovery of the Rd. I usually chart Spoon, but when this was charting it barely enticed me. This time around it just came alive. 21. Light On - Maggie RogersThis one was also better than I remembered it to be. She has nice vocals. Now if she had Mandy Lee's vocals I probably would put it top 10, because the song isn't much different then the new MisterWives' material. This is definitely one of the better Indiepop jams of the year. 20. Sing Along - Sturgill SimpsonI can't recall ever liking a song from Sturgill or much less any of his songs sounding this fierce, this one really captures a sort of 80's Electric Light Orchestra vibe. It has that Jeff Lynne style guitar works. This one also made a small cameo on Active chart. I figured this one would have some top 10's so I put it in my top 5 so it would make the top 10. I wasn't counting on tankers. 19. Falling Down the Stairs of Your Smile - T he New PornographersThis isn't no "High Ticket Attractions" but it's still pretty good. I enjoyed the chorus a lot more than the verses parts. The duo vocals worked well. The band Love Fame Tragedy have a similar sound. 18. Comeback Kid - Sharon Van EttenThis is the one with the New Wave vibe. You guys blew it. Wrong one out first. Also how did this not chart on Alt? 17. Ready to Let Go - Cage the Elephantremember when I was tanking this band's Nirvana-ish songs. Glad they rectified that sound. ;) 16. Go - The Black Keys I keep ranking this one higher on every RD we do. Great song. I thought it better suited the AAA vibe than "Lo/Hi" so I put it in my top 10. 15. Exits - FoalsAnother great song. Fits the AAA vibe perfectly and shows up where I think it should. I still believe "On The Luna" should have smashed on all 3 Rock charts. 14. Seventeen - Sharon Van EttenHer vocal delivery sounds different on this one and the song didn't have that dark new wave vibe. It was alright, but nothing super exciting. Call me back when we rank Winger "Seventeen". 13. Patience - Tame ImpalaThis band is a big hit/miss band for me. I like their harder stuff like "Elephant". This one is a bit too mellow. Has a slight disco vibe but not enough to keep a really upbeat melody going. 12. Longshot - Catfish and the BottlemenSurprisingly this one sounded stronger in that live version. His vocals and guitars really came alive. Great song. I love the fact I finally got to chart it top 10 on one of the rock rds too. I probably should have charted this one? 11. Red Bull & Hennessy - Jenny LewisThis is another great Tom Petty vibed song. Didn't think it would go top 10, bit I'm glad if my vote helped it get this high? BTW, I don't drink liquor , but has anyone tried mixing Redbull and Hennessey? Did it give you wings or horns?

Extras:
Mockingbird - Ruston Kelly This had a pleasant Country vibe. I tend to like a little country over quite a few other genres., and I loved the added harmonica. I'd be lying if I didn't say the music video was just as pleasant on the eyes as the song was on the ears. Also this guy is married to Kacey Musgraves. What else can you ask for.
Oh No - The Revivalists damn this one blows that other one we ranked away. Why are we not ranking this jam?
Summer Girl - HAIM This was o.k.. A bit dry dry melodywise. I wish they had a more upbeat indiepop sound.
Hello Sunshine - Bruce Springsteen I didn't really care for any post 80's Bruce Springsteen. This songs lost that youthfull poprock vibe.
Homesick - The Marcus King Band I don't see the big hooray over this band. Decent Blues rock vibe, but the vocals leave much to be desired and the band kinda sounds like a has been Las Vegas variety show opening band for a bigger band.
Everybody Here Hates You - Courtney Barnett This one is alright. A bit on the 90's side. I just wish it was more form the upbeat 90's side.
A Tight Ship - David Gray This was different. Not much to write about. It kinda just sways by without much energy. Way toooo mellow for me.
Fire - Sara Bareilles For a song titled "Fire" this sure had none of it. Not even a simmer.

Cage the Elephant - Social Cues Death Cab for Cutie - Northern Lights Lana Del Rey - Doin' Time Local Natives - When Am I Gonna Lose You Of Monsters and Men - Alligator Sam Fender - Hypersonic Missiles The Cranberries - All over Now The National - Rylan Vampire Weekend - Harmony Hall Young the Giant - Superposition - What songs are your surprised made it this far?"Harmony Hall". Just don't hear what is so great about that one? - Which songs are you disappointed about coming up short?'Sing Along" - Sturgill Simpson. This jam was great. Still can't see anyone giving it a rank lower that 20, and yet a bunch of you still did. Also wasn't happy what happened to Seratones, Sleater-Kinney and Adia Victoria- Care to predict how this top ten plays out?I would love if my #1 won it all, but it's up against the #1 alt song again. - Bonus question: What are your favorite extras in this game? What about least favorite?Easy answer is the least favorite from that Noah "I wanna sing like Passenger" Kahn. Mt. Joy , Billie Eilish's "aerobix for the undead" music. and Fitz and The Tantrums. It's bad enough they released that garbage, but to see them get tanked twice is just embarrassing. favorites; Too many to count. of Course Weezer, The Raconteurs "Sunday Driver" Foals, SYML, Beirut , Kurt Vile should have charted a song in 2019 too. "Father Of All..." tho I feel you guys might have tanked one of my top 3 songs wayyyyyyyyy to early. *For the new blood. I tend to like up and coming female vocals jams so I went to the beginning and remembered these making the biggest vocal impacts on me Castles - Freya RidingsKill in the Cure - Jocelyn & Chris ArndtThis girl can sing a song. Keep the Change - MattielGold - Sister SparrowStupid Pretty Face - Roscoe & EttaThis is about as mellow as I want to go for, but still feel like a listened to a fierce vibe.

Word wall for the songs I missed:
31. You Had Your Soul With You - I love The National, but this was just decent. I probably overranked it a bit, but for them, they've done better.
30. Old Black Magic - Josh Ritter is always pretty solid whenever I hear from him, and this was no different. Solid song. I don't get why this had such a high SD, but glad it made it this far when I expected it to go out in the 40s or even 50s.
29. Mettavolution - Really cool instrumental. Sometimes, instrumentals don't do much for me, but this had a lot going on in it to keep me interested, and it was a good song – I underranked it. It doesn't surprise me that we liked this, but color me surprised this even charted.
28. Calm Down - I really like both of Pete's singles this era. He's someone I should check out more. This was my top first listen, but if I redid my ranking, I think he'd be my second highest first listen because I'd be boosting the hell out of "Supply & Demand" now.
27. Different Kind of Love - This was one I expected to like a little more, but something was just kind of missing for me here. Nothing bad at all, but it just didn't move me.
26. If It Feels Good (Then It Must Be) - This is the worst song I've heard from Leon. That's not to say that it's bad or anything, but this something about it felt off. Not sure if I like this kind of style on him.
From extras: When We Drive - This was actually the single I liked the most from DCFC this era, so this would have been probably right outside my top 10 here. It's got a nice enchanting vibe to it.
24. Missed Connection - Dammit, lol. I knew this was about where it was gonna go. I love the bassline on this, and I think Jonathan's vocals on this are really nice. I wish more people liked them here, because I thought this could be a shoo-in for top 10 on both here and Alt.
23. Now That You're Gone - This is a fine Raconteurs song. They've made better.
22. No Bullets Spent - I'm really surprised this missed top 20. I thought this would go out just before the top 10. This is the Spoon I really like.
21. Light On - I think this is kinda generic. This never really moved me.
20. Sing Along - Another one, along with Spoon, that I thought would go right before the top 10, or be a dark horse. I'm glad Sturgill went this route because I love this sound on him.
19. Falling Down the Stairs of Your Smile - HOW? This so deserved top 10. Great, great song.
18. Comeback Kid - Meh. I never cared for this one. "Seventeen" was better.
17. Ready to Let Go - Good song for Cage the Elephant, but yeah, get it out now.
16. Go - Surf's up!
15. Exits - This is about where I saw this one too. Good song still, even with it being a bad single choice.
14. Seventeen - With that said, I also didn't care for this, lol.
13. Patience - Cool. Glad this missed top 10. I thought it'd make it just for being Tame Impala. This is fine, but nothing special.
12. Longshot - I like this a lot, but again, get the Alt crossovers gone that are not in my top 20!
11. Red Bull & Hennessy - SO CLOSE. I was so surprised at how far this was making it, but I was hoping it'd get in to the top 10.

I'll take a stab at predicting:
10. Rylan 9. Social Cues 8. All Over Now (probably lower, I just really want this to go as far as possible) 7. Superposition 6. Doin' Time 5. Harmony Hall 4. Hypersonic Missiles (no clue on this one tbh) 3. When Am I Gonna Lose You 2. Alligator 1. Northern Lights
None of these songs are really all that surprising. Interesting how there are 6 Alt crossovers, 7 if we're counting When Am I Gonna Lose You.
