I wonder if “Old Town Road” would have still broken the record under this new rule. Main pop girl Camilla mega smash hit single Senortia would of likely spent a lot more weeks at number since bad guy old town road payola hurts all had a ton UGC Nah... Señorita was helped by UGC as well just look at this week's streaming chart (#17 last week / #43 this week).

Nah... Señorita was helped by UGC as well just look at this week's streaming chart (#17 last week / #43 this week). It was 17 last week cuz of year end radio I'm talking about streaming. Radio's YE doesn't impact streaming that much.

Bruh how is sales supposed to impact the streaming chart.....? you buy streams Let's not continue this. The idea of radio and sales "massively impacting the streaming chart" is ridiculous and false. "Sales" and "streams" are completely distinct and independent metrics. SYL gaining on sales, for example, has no impact on how it does in streaming. And honestly, really, it's okay to be in the wrong sometimes.

I'd say they are pretty equal. B&B Had 2 #1's. Rockstar (8 weeks) charted for 41 weeks. Psycho (1 week) charted for 39 weeks. Better now peaked at #3 but from what I remember was an extremely strong 3, and also charted longer then both Rockstar and Psycho, 52 weeks aka a whole year. It also had some moderate hits Ball for me and Candy Paint. As well as an album bomb when the album was released. A massive era. But the era was cut short because he released Sunflower. Now Hollywood is Bleeding had a much longer rollout of singles and it allowed Post to gather 3 top three singles before the album release. Sunflower #1 (1 week) charted for an iconic 53 weeks. Wow peaked at #2 and charted for 44 weeks. Goodbyes peaked at #3 but I wouldn't say it was as big as Better now, it charted for 21 weeks compared to Better now's 52. Now where the era's differ is when it comes to Circles. B&B didn't have a huge 4th hit like HIB. Circles has obviously hit #1 as well and is enjoying some great longevity. Also this era also gave us TWYW which peaked at #8 and Enemies which peaked at #16. Both of which are still charting and will likely hit 20 weeks. Now all of this combined with a huge album bomb, the era was obviously huge. I think on paper Hollywood is bleeding is bigger but it's also important to remember Sunflower was originally apart of the Spiderman soundtrack so after its huge success it seems like they just slapped it on the album. Personally to me B&B "feels" bigger. But regardless both era were/are huge and anyone out there would kill to have an era half as big as either. what kills me about HB is that I feel there is so much more potential for hits on that album..... if only he would make MVs for Take What You Want and Enemies and actually get behind them ikr, those 2 are my favorite songs from the album

Why do so many feel the need to be right even if their not and create a new argument just for getting their wrong point across to sound correct.... All it does is mess up an already long thread. lol

Surprised that Falling and No Idea dropped that much on Hot 100. Not going to be big hits it seems.
