BMO was the third single released from Dreamville queen Ari Lennox's debut album Shea Butter Baby. The record sampled the same late 60s cut as Busta Rhymes' Woo-Hah! Got You All in Check while the lyrics were inspired by the legendary likes of Missy Elliott and Patti LaBelle. Ari dropped one of my favorite albums of 2019 and her voice is such a breath of fresh air in modern R&B to me. At least this one did better than Whipped Cream last year.

As a preview, #35 has the 23rd-lowest SD and fought hard to stay in the top-half before tumbling out at the tail-end. She has 3 top-10s vs. 5 bottom-5s, including someone who thought this was the worst song in the RD!

I Get No Joy was the third single released from Jade Bird's self-titled debut album and peaked at #12 on the U.S. Triple AAA chart. I'm sure her voice isn't for everyone but I must say I'm a sucker for a good rasp and a woman with a guitar and I was happy to see this one was hanging inside the top-25 until surfy 's hating ass came through at literally the last minute.

Stay High was released in July 2019 as the lead single from her solo debut album Jaime. As a joke, she ordered some weed from Amazon and smoked it before the writing session for this particular song yet the title isn't as literal; she wrote it as a dedication to her father. It went to #1 on the Triple A chart but I guess too many of y'all found her voice too polarizing for it to stay inside the top half here.
