The vibe on this album is SO good and SO cohesive. Favorites include the singles, as well as "Problem Child" and "Bluebird." I love most songs on this record, however.

The album is really solid! The familiarity bias does push me more towards the singles/pre-releases sans "Nightfall" (since that came out like last week) but they did not disappoint. "Wine, Beer, Whiskey" is... interesting I should say - that's probably the only song on the album that I don't particularly care for at the moment. "River of Stars" is my favorite non-single/pre-release track on first listen for me.

This is a really nice album/listen but the lack of tempo is an issue for me. I can individually listen to any of these and LOVE them, but listening to them all in a row kinda makes me sleepy.
'Sugar Coat' is the best for me. Wow. What a moment. Count me as one that LOVES 'Wine, Beer, Whiskey.'

Currently listening. I’m most excited to hear Bluebird and River of Stars, with the team that helped Kacey make Golden Hour. ❤️

At the moment, Sugar Coat and River of Stars are my faves.

This is a really nice album/listen but the lack of tempo is an issue for me. I can individually listen to any of these and LOVE them, but listening to them all in a row kinda makes me sleepy. That's where I'm at. I've always enjoyed their sound and harmonies...and appreciate the fact that that most of this album isn't over-produced. But this is a tough one for me to continuously stream unless I'm sitting in a coffee shop or getting ready for bed.

Beautiful album and a sizable step up from The Breaker. Highlights for me are the two singles, "Sugar Coat," "Questions," and "Wine Beer Whiskey." I also love the old school harmonies on the opening and closing tracks ("Next to You" -- that build is beautiful -- and "Trouble with Forever"). "Problem Child" is really good too and I love the way the hook is presented. "Sugar Coat" and "Questions" are probably my top 2 though. Both of those are just absolutely marvelous from a melodic and lyrical standpoint. Can't get enough of either. The only track I really haven't gotten into so far is "Forever and a Night."

Projected to debut at #11 with 28-32k SPS, (25-28k sales). Not a bad opening considering The Breaker opened with 44k three years ago and that one was fueled by a smash hit ("Better Man") while they've received barely any radio play this time around. Lady Antebellum also just opened with 29k for Ocean and they had a big hit with the lead single. It's a shame LBT keeps getting done dirty by country radio. They deserve far better.

What a beautiful album! Finally got around to listening to it today, 2 weeks after its release. A very solid album and a step up from The Breaker. I wish country radio would continue to play their new music; they deserve far more than what they're getting. And this album in particular deserves #1 singles.
Personal Standouts: "Throw Your Love Away", "Over Drinking", "Questions", "The Daughters", "Sugar Coat", "Problem Child", "Trouble With Forever"

“Next To You” is one of their best songs to date. “Wine, Beer, Whiskey” is a smash waiting in the gates. I adore “Forever and a Night” so, so much.
This album’s quite good. I love that they found a direction and ran with it. There’s a clear mood & path here, which I appreciate. Demonstrates excellent artistry.

Really enjoy this release.
My favorites: "Wine, Beer, and Whiskey", and the sublime Mumford-like slow build/crescendo at the end of "Next To You".

Next To You and Sugar Coat are the standouts for me, so fingers crossed they get released as singles at some point!
