^plus, unfortunately the beginning of the year is always going to feel stale because of the big songs from late in the former year that are still associated with last year in everyone's mind. That's just how it is, but most of them will probably be gone by March

If Justin Bieber wasn’t on 10K Hours, the song wouldn’t touch the top 10. Agreed. It couldn't have reached the top 10 in Radio Songs, among other things.

#3 Spotify #2 Apple Music #1 Pandora #2 YouTube (#1 on Top Videos Chart)
Godzilla - 41.1M streams
#2 Spotify #3 Apple Music - Pandora
#3 YouTube (Out of the top 100 on Top Videos Chart)

It would have went to #1 if it was discounted on iTunes the week Memories went to #2.

Here’s to hoping Bad Guy went recurrent this week that way it has *much* slimmer chances of getting a boost from the grammys
Inb4 I get bombarded for being the only one who feels this way

But your reasoning behind it is backed with hate and anger at Billie and her amazing work of art just because she won something she had no control over.

Of all Biliie's song releases, Bad Guy is the only one I can't stand at all. But this sh!t winning big at the Grammies is beyond my comprehension.

Agreed. It couldn't have reached the top 10 in Radio Songs, among other things. Didn’t Speechless reach the Radio Songs Top 10 or come close after its Country airplay peaked? Yeah, with Recurrent Country Airplay and Pop & Hot AC support. This is their third single to cross over from Country, but the Bieber addition help the airplay to align/grow at the same time, hence the outstanding performance of "10,000 Hours" on the Hot 100.

Looks like Life Is Good is gonna stick around for awhilw. I predict it will hold 2nd for awhilw and eventually reach #1 for a week or two when The Box declinws
Roddy's gotta get that music video up for The Box. It did good but it seems like its starting to fall a little bit

It seems to have peaked in Radio Songs the week before it went to #1 in Country Airplay. More than half of its current radio audience is from non-Country radio formats. I would think it has close the format performance outside of Country achieved by Meant to Be.

Eminem and Mac Miller taking over almost a quarter of the chart this week with new albums and 15 % of the top 40
I dont remember "album bombs" being a thing prior to BB streaming era
The positive is that it sends some older titles recurrent early so there can be a bit of a refresh when the album tracks clear
