I’ll just kindly leave this here.
This geriatric fool has been doing this sh*t for 20+ years now...
Isn’t he tired? 💀
The “GOAT”, indeed.
Apologies on behalf of Ariana Grande and ‘Manchester’.

Current super early predictions: Eminem will get a top 5 debut for one song and a big album bonb for others. Halsey's new album will give you should be sad a big debut and could get into top 35 this week, avoiding the "curse of the sevond week drop". It will be interesting to see if Jonas Brothers can keep their relevance from 2019 or if Suvker & Only Human's popularity were just hype-based

Not Eminem releasing 3 full albums before Rihanna 💀 She helped supply him with not one but TWO of his biggest hits of the 2010’s... Her job is done.

So, the Eminem album is really disturbing. It's sad that he still feels the need to reach for the ugliest places for shock value.
He raps from the perspective of the Mandalay Hotel/Route 91 Harvest shooter who killed 58 people and injured 431 people, on the album's single. The video is much worse.

I'm guessing the Don Toliver or Juice WRLD features have the best chance of being successful

This is going to be a crazy week. And aside from a few questionable lines I actually do sort of enjoy this Em album.

I think you missed the point of that song. The song is an anti-gun statement. He raps from the perspective of the shooter to show how easy it was to pull off the shooting and highlights how tragic the whole event was and the act of cowardice that the shooter took in taking his own life. Not to mention the ending scene where “When will it end? When enough people care.” In bold appears and a link to register to vote. Usually I’m the last person to defend Eminem but the execution of this song was chilling and very well done and the intentions were perfectly clear and good.

I saw Eminem release a new music video, I didn't know he released a whole new album. Jesus Christ, the guest stars he chose. Preparing for the worst.

Still, the video was hard to watch, especially for people who don't want to relive that hell of a day. There are other ways he could have done it that would have been better if only for the friends and the families of the victims of that unfortunate night, but he's Eminem and he had to do it that way.

So to save all you time from listening to this album, I took note of all the godawful/corny-ass lines I heard in my first listen:
I said, "I'm a candle, I'll go out if you blow on me" (I had to pause the album at this line. I just...had to take a break) Gettin' head in the bucket, Marshmello Call us Long John Silver's 'cause we selfish I'm talkin' euthanasia (Euthanasia), like kids in Taiwan So all of y'all can just suck a penis (Suck a penis) Plus I get dough like Ed Sheeran, so call me the ginger bread man But I look up to myself (Yeah) like a fucking headstand (Yeah)
And that's not even getting into the godawful choruses on Stepdad, Yah Yah and Little Engine. Or the fact that part of Premotion is him still trying to defend Revival! Or how the only good song on this thing was I Will, but only because it was Crooked, Royce and Joell giving decent bars, that's it and even then, Em's verse goes on way too long!
If I missed any lines, feel free to add.

When did we start hating Eminem? Pulse is so random sometimes. We're here for all these boring lowbeat rappers who keep putting out the same song again and again and whose music careers are all fronts for their drug businesses anyway, but one of - if not the - greatest rappers of all time is now too old, too lame and way too edgy?
I'd take Eminem over deadbeat-dad Future any day of the week.

The album's not bad lol. I have pretty low standards for new Eminem music in 2020, but nothing here is really outrageously terrible and there are quite a few songs I genuinely like. More than I can say about Revival and Kamikaze at least.

Future > current Eminem any day
But I agree, that Eminem being "edgy" is no way worse than rappers like YNW Melly (who is in prison FOR REAL) mumbling about killing himself with drugs.

No one's questioning Eminem's impact or the quality of his earlier albums. His legacy and effect on rap cannot be and SSLP, MMLP1 and Eminem Show are great albums. But just because a rapper is important and influential to the game does not make them immune from criticism. Kanye, Jay-Z, Nas, all are incredibly influential and important but also have they're fare share of mediocre to bad albums in their discography.
Expectation also plays a big part into things. I'm not a Future Fan at all but I don't expect great things when I put on a Future song. Meanwhile, there's a higher stander and expectation for Eminem because of both his legacy and his talent just as a rapper. He's made great stuff in the 2010s: Lucky You, Fast Lane, the best songs from MMLP2 so it's not like his talents fading. So when you expect great things from a rapper and yet they deliver songs like Venom, Stepdad, Kamikaze, Heat, Bad Husband, Nice Guy, etc., it makes for a worse disappointment.

Still amazes me that he has 9 children with 9 different women and he still has other children running around with other women he's yet to claim. It's like anything he touches gets pregnant, lmao.

Em album is garbage I'm sorry. Just on a pure musical level the rapping is grating, the singing is as bad as always and the production is bad. Anyways I'm sure this will have a one week impact on the hot 100 and then we'll all forget it ever happened.
