Imagine a song called Hot Girl Bummer having more longevity than Hot Girl Summer...I love it.

Blinding Lights managed to be #1 in Australia. I'm so happy! It hopefully bumped Dance Monkey after 24 weeks at #1 there for good. Starboy got stuck at #2 for 12 weeks in Australia lol. Crazy how it's his first #1 and dethroned a 24 week #1!

How many more weeks for Circles at #1 on radio songs? It's at 6 now right? There's nothing threatening it at this point

How the hell did Life Is Good just disappear from being reported on Kworb's YouTube insights? Surely, it's daily views aren't that low that they're not being reported.

The Box is going to be #1 for a while I think. Even my friends who don't enjoy modern rap think it's fire and bump it on the daily.

Unfortunately The Hills wasn't big over here in Australia. I'm just glad we made up for it by getting Blinding Lights to #1

The YouTube weekly chart was updated and has The Box at #1 with over a ten percent weekly loss. It still managed over seventy-five more streams than Godzilla. Three notable gainers are Tusa (20-11), Roxanne (16-12) and Falling (40-16). Life is Good drop from 2 to 26 with more than an eighty percent loss.

There is an error by YouTube with Life Is Good's numbers. It's #26 on the Top Songs Chart, but its official video is #1 on Top Videos Chart and the former should add up all the videos available thus it should never be lower than the latter.

yes keep climbing, keep climbing I also want Hot Girl Bummer to make the year end so more people can rant about it. Let's call the track what it is: gentrified frat boy trap. It's the worst kind of boring. I want it to make the Year-End list just so Spectrum Pulse can rant about it. It got WORST OF THE WEEK on Billboard Breakdown.

I feel like (and he pretty much confirmed this when he went on Jimmy Fallon to premiere Circles) that Post Malone's goal when it comes to making every single song is to make it catchy enough to be a hit. It's why his albums always feel like more of a collection of hits than a actual albums, which usually has deep cuts that say something else and don't have every song sound like something that could play on the radio.
He always has several other songs he could push as singles, but he never does.

I woukdn't mind seeing Hollywood's Bleeding (song) and A Thousand Bad Times become hits.
Speaking of albums full of hits, Ms. Taylor! You still have Cruel Summer and Afterglow waiting in the wings. Please don't leave them behind and to the public, please don't make this another Out of the Woods-New Romantics situation where the best singles flop.

Afterglow would not work as a single at all, but if Cruel Summer isn’t released I’ll be so mad.

Let's not even mention Taylor Swift's appalling rollout for the otherwise incredible "Lover" album. Man, so many missed opportunities...
Also, while it's a real shame "Lover" is probably going to get caught between years, she kind of had it coming by releasing a ballad at the end of the summer when it would obviously only gain momentum during the late autumn/winter season.
I'm still baffled on why she would release the two absolute worst songs of the album (by a long margin) as the first two singles. Just imagine how different the casual listener and music critics' perception would be if she had released "Paper Rings", "The Man", or "Cruel Summer" instead.

It seemed like an easy no-brainer when the album dropped. I think it's because of the whole issue of having a song with 'summer' on the title being promoted after the season has passed (just look at "Hot Girl Summer", which could have been much bigger had it been released in the middle of summer). However, what folks don't realise is that "Cruel Summer" is more reminiscent rather than describing a current situation, so it could have worked perfectly as an autumn single over "Lover", with the latter being pushed to a November release instead. Regardless, I seriously hope "Cruel Summer" doesn't get robbed from being a single. The chorus is insanely infectious and I can't seem to get tired of listening to it.

Taylor has a long history of releasing terrible lead singles and it's been that way since she started making Pop albums. She ALWAYS has way better songs that could have pushed instead when the album drops.

We’re in the 3rd calendar year and at almost 70 weeks since Sunflower was released and it’s still at #28 on Spotify above brand-new hits like My Oh My and Adore You. Absolutely insane longevity.

It's currently at 66 weeks at #39 on my Spotify-based chart (shameless plug on my signature). It's also #2 all-time since Spotify released numbers (on spotifycharts.com). Rockstar and Better Now also have 87 and 66 weeks respectively, this just shows how Post has INSANE 2 longevity

It baffles me how Taylor released all of the worst songs from Lover as her lead singles.
Ideal rollout with the benefit of retrospect would have been
ME! in April (although I don’t like the song it’s still the most Lead Single-y song on the album) Cruel Summer in June The Man in August along with the album Lover in December (whyyyy was the video released in August but it’s a Christmas video) Paper Rings a couple weeks from now, either that or Afterglow could become sleeper hits
and honestly just delete YNTCD off the album
