Circles might very well break the "longest time in top ten" record. Adult radio has just started to hammer it to death.
And why wouldn't it. His (supposed) next single Enemies dropped out of Hot 100 last week, and TMWYW is in decline in its 19th week so the next Post Malone hit is not really in sight yet.

It's possible Take What You Want could have a chart life similar to LOVE. In that it spends a full 20 weeks on the charts before dropping off and then returning when pushed as an official single, and getting another 20

The last three singles off of 'HB' have been handled horribly tbh, first "TWYW" doesn't receive a music video (despite a pop radio release and exceptional live performance), "Allergic" was unable to do any major impact on Alternative radio (without any promotion from the label at all), and now "Enemies" is being sent to pop radio despite having peaked on urban and rhythmic already (with it having been first released as a radio single a couple of days after the album came out). Why Post Malone! :( |

Maybe Post just doesn't enjoy shooting music videos? I'm sure it can be a tiresome experience for some. Given that three of his biggest hits ("Wow.", "Better Now" and "Sunflower") didn't get proper ones, that might be the case - and they clearly didn't need good videos anyway. Woulda helped to make them all #1 though, sure. Lol imagine Post having 6 #1s in 3 years, Paula Abdul style.
