I can't say I cared for any of the albums that came after this, but the consistency of qualiTY in her '90s output is still so impressive.

Adore it. All her 90's albums are R&B classics. So good.

This was definitely an album meant to open her up to a more international audience. With the Elton sample, the George Michael duet and the more polished approach on songs like "All That I Can Say" and "Give Me You," I feel like they were trying to break Mary overseas.
It still had the classic gritty Mary moments like "The Love I Never Had," or "Your Child" but overall it felt more upscale as an album. "No Happy Holidays" is a MOMENT.

I still play this album. This album grew on me. It showed more growth to her sound and Style. Not my all time favorite this album has something meaningful to me. Maybe itβs the slow jams.
