I'll work on the debut album tonight, but if I could have tomorrow to work on the other I'll be able to get both in.

I did not realize that Hal Ketchum wrote "Fools Like Me". Did he write any other songs for other artist?

I did not realize that Hal Ketchum wrote "Fools Like Me". Did he write any other songs for other artist? He and Matraca Berg co-wrote "The Trouble With Love", a mid-90s hit for Canadian country singer Duane Steele. That's the only one I can think of, but there definitely could be more.

We'll stop there for the day! Trisha and Garth are streaming live from the Opry at 8:00 ET tonight, so I will definitely be checking that out. Here is our top 5: She's In Love With The Boy The Woman Before Me That's What I Like About You Like We Never Had A Broken Heart Victim Of The Game Can our final remaining album track, "Victim Of The Game", pull ahead of the singles, or will the singles dominate here? I will (probably) finish up tomorrow. austin .indulgecountry bboat11 castleoblivion26 BackwoodsBarbie fearlessarrow tim Kanenrá:ke taylor someguy ClevelandRox

Ooh I didn't see that song when making my list for her rankdown, maybe I'll spotlight it and listen to it later on. I should do a Hal Ketchum rankdown eventually, I've always really liked him! Anyways to get back on topic, I personally hope and think that "Victim of the Game" will be #5 as the 4 singles from this album are all rather iconic even in her discography so deserve to be the top of the list here!

#5 - Like We Never Had A Broken HeartWriters: Pat Alger, Garth Brooks Total Points: 64 taylor - 3 bboat11 - 4 castleoblivion26 - 4 BackwoodsBarbie - 4 tim - 4 austin - 5 ClevelandRox - 6 fearlessarrow - 6 someguy - 8 Kanenrá:ke - 10 .indulgecountry - 10 We kick off our top 5 with the album's second single, "Like We Never Had A Broken Heart". The song features background vocals from its co-writer (and Trisha's future husband) Garth Brooks. The song was her second hit on Billboard's country airplay chart, making it to #4. It was always the lowest of the singles here, and actually looked to finish outside of the top 5 for most of the process. The last couple of lists allowed it to squeeze into the top 5, finishing just two points higher than our #6. This takes out Kanenrá:ke and .indulgecountry's last place ranks, but there are still two songs remaining that received last place ranks as well.

Our next two songs are tied in points. One received a #1 finish, while the other song's highest rankings were multiple #2s, which broke the tiebreaker.

#4 - Victim Of The GameWriters: Garth Brooks, Mark D. Sanders Total Points: 57 someguy - 2 Kanenrá:ke - 2 BackwoodsBarbie - 3 fearlessarrow - 3 ClevelandRox - 4 .indulgecountry - 5 tim - 5 castleoblivion26 - 6 austin - 8 bboat11 - 9 taylor - 10 Garth's second co-write on the album, "Victim Of The Game" is the unlucky loser of the tiebreaker, which puts it at #4. It was on track to finish at #3 for most of the process, and was even an early contender for #2, but was set back by taylor's #10 ranking, and really never able to recover. It came very close though! This has always been an absolute favourite of mine. Garth also recorded it himself on his 1990 album No Fences. I also really like his version. Apparently, he gave this song to Trisha to record, but then went ahead and recorded himself anyway. Since he didn't release it as a single, she continued with her plan to record it. She never released it as a single, either. It was our highest ranked album track here.

#3 - That's What I Like About YouWriters: John Hadley, Kevin Welch, Wally Wilson Total Points: 57 ClevelandRox - 1 fearlessarrow - 2 austin - 2 tim - 3 castleoblivion26 - 3 someguy - 4 bboat11 - 7 Kanenrá:ke - 8 .indulgecountry - 8 taylor - 9 BackwoodsBarbie - 10 The winner of our tie, thanks to ClevelandRox's #1 ranking, is "That's What I Like About You", the album's third single. It became Trisha's third top 10 hit, making it to #8. It's become one of her more forgotten hits, but I've always liked it. It's a fun uptempo that balances out her catalog nicely. The song was first recorded by James House, but not released as a single. BackwoodsBarbie becomes the last person to lose her #10 ranking here.
