Top 10 Country Albums Chart in Pure Sales: February 24, 2020
Posted By Matt Bjorke on Tuesday February 25, 2020
It was a photo finish of sorts on this week's chart but (the pictured) Brantley Gilbert takes the top spot from BMLG label mate Carly Pearce. See how close the race for the most sales, this week, was.
Thanks to what was most-likely a concert ticket bundle redemption, Brantley Gilbert's Fire & Brimstone jumps Carly Pearce's self-titled sophomore album release by 100 units to claim this week's #1 slot. Pearce, who has a Top 10 hit with "I Hope You're Happy Now" with Lee Brice from the project, also debuts at #73 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and thanks to sales + streaming figures, her total impact for release week is over 77,000 album equivalents so far. Luke Combs' What You See Is What You Get sits at #3 on this chart (#1 on the S+S total impact chart) and is followed by Blake Shelton's Fully Loaded: God's Country album on this chart. Jason Aldean's 9 rounds out the Top 5.
The juggernaut album that seemingly won't go away, Chris Stapleton's Traveller sits at #6 and is followed by one word titled albums in Nightfall and Wildcard from Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert, respectively. Sitting at #9 this week is Luke Combs' debut album This One's For You. Rounding out the Top 10 is Tyler Childers with Country Squire.
Our long list of notables includes Sturgille Simpson, Ronnie Dunn, Lady Antebellum, Jon Pardi, Tanya Tucker, The Steeldrivers, Niko Moon, Alan Doyle, Thomas Rhett, Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow and many more.
